Pakistani applicants with Paris Visa Office

Hi,just wanted to know is it only me or others who have been enduring Waiting phenomenon!First waiting for medicals,then for ecas update,then for PPR1 and now PPR2!i m 2010 applicant,Pakistanis deling with PVO r welcome 2 share thier experience/input.thanks

R u doing it on ur own or through consultant?is ecas being updated with medicals recieved?did u drop a csi?

I am doing at my own. consultant can not do anything for you except drain your money from your bank account. I have not sent them CSI because due to my personal reasons I do not want to go to Canada before June 2014. Therefore, as delayed it is the good it is for me.

Please see my timelines , and say "Allah Ka Shukar Hai" , I am till date waiting for "Initial Review" of my application.
You will get visa from 08 months from date of your medicals.

Well u r right indeed v r thankful to Allah for everything,its just the wait and some status that drives u to the edge,i have been waiting since 2010,and medicals,rprf,pcc have been submitted in May this year,PPR1 was on 30thOct and now waiting for ppr2,but Allah ka shukar hai finally leading to happy ending here and IA happy beginning there

Who told you that we will get visa within 8 months of medicals?

You are lucky that you got PPR1. I had medicals in May 2013 too but still waiting for PPR ....

Whats ur ecas status,coz mne changed to DM on 10th n i was like wht does this mean?been searching forums,google and with the help from coolguy n sunnyincanada n others i got to know wht does it mean n wht i shd do,so dropped a csi on 29th n gt ppr1 on 30th!

My cousin is waiting for final email , since 45 days

Our family class application was smooth with PVO.
FC4 parental sponsorship case processed quite fast for us after file transfer.

Paris office is VERY efficient/fast, they communicate by email mostly.
A thousand times better than Islamabad office for sure

It depends upon case to case - No hard and fast rule that they follow

Hi,

I just received below email from Paris visa office.

"Please note that your Immigration Application as a Permanent Resident to Canada is still being updated. We will contact if ever any new documentation is to be provided, and will keep you informed of any new decision made as soon as possible."

I am wondering whether they are still checking my educational and employment background? I had medicals on May 20, 2013.... Sad
