It takes about 8-10 months in Regina Office and then CIC also takes about 10 months to finalize straightforward cases. Grade 10 applicant do not qualify for SINP Family Member, but if they have some skill or trade and have trade certification or diploma of at least one year in length, then they do qualify for the criteria. They also need to show IELTS 6 band to be on the safe side as CIC is regularly asking IELTS.

Dear Azbutt & Cybervjs,

Adroit is right, we dont need to send our passports to London. CHC London also knows about local passport regulations thats why they splitted the procedure into 2 steps. In the first step they will send u a letter and ask u ur updated photographs with the photocopies of ur valid passports which u need to travel to Canada along with a short information updation form.

After reviewing ur documents (That u already sent in step 1), they will issue a step 2 letter with the instructions to send ur passports to CHC Islamabad for visa issuance. I've already received step 1 letter on Feb. 21 and sent required documents and now waiting for step 2 letter as they mentioned in their step 1 letter.
i got step one letter yesterday
howz much time will taken to get step two letter

can anyone tell how much time will be taken to get ppr step 2 letter after subbmiitting step one letter requested doucments

congrats for getting step 1 letter. In ur letter they have mentioned the time to submit the documents (passport copies etc.) e.g. 30 or 45 days, u should expect step 2 letter at least 10 days after those 30 or 45 days expiry. This is my personal experience and may vary from case to case.
