Dear friends,

I have a question regarding passport request photographs:

The email says that write application number and name at the back of photos. Do we need write DOB and address of photo shop and date photo taken at the back of photos? Or for PPR photos that is not required?

Urgent help required!

just follow the instructions given.
Normally the photo studio can stamp the back of the photos with date and name/address of studio.
Applicant name, DOB and file number can be written on back by pen.

Hi

Is it common to have your 2nd Medical Expired and still not hearing anything from CIC?
My spouse is from Pakistan and my file is in London UK office. The Online status of my application says ("In Process") for over 2 years. My spouses 2nd medical expired about two months ago and I haven’t heard back from CIC. I have requested the CAIPs file two times and it is as following:

10/2013 File Opened
11/2013 SPR-Eligibility Met
10/2014 Eligibility/CRIM-Passed, Pending MEDs
04/2015 Proof of meds, requested Docs Received
04/2016 Label: Verification

2nd Medical Expired & No news about two months ago. I did the online inquiry at the London(UK) office where my file is, it states waiting for background check and its already over a year but I have no news yet. The website stated 11 months, then 17 months, then 23 months and now 11 months but my file has been in process about 32 months now. Does anybody has any idea what can cause it to take so long and how long will I have to wait?

Thank you for your help!

I had three medicals and my VO was also London (UK). It took almost 7 years for my case to process. (Mine was Investor visa application)

You may want to get hold of your GCMS notes to find out why it's getting delayed.

I have got Decision Made without the line stated that the Decision has been made and officer will contact you. I have done with medicals and paid RPRF in August 2015. Sent PCC Explanation to them in November 2015 which was under review by visa officer and now on May 20, 2016 I got this status of "Decision Made". Worried alot as what it could be.

Any idea what the decision could be?

It's possible they could have extended your meds and finalizing file.

But its too early to tell. You should order GCMS (case notes) to find out status.

Wait for the medical instructions. Even the IOM staff may not accomodate your request for advance medical since you're not a family class applicant. Advance medicals are usually for family class sponsorship applications, not for skilled worker. Medicals are only valid for 1 yr so why waste your money if file will take a while to process the medds will expire and you will have to do them again.

But yes you can pay the RPRF in advance if you have your file number, or client id number (UCI#) etc. This will definitely save you time later on. Pay it as early as possible once your file is in process. Or pay it when you receive your medical forms/instructions.

Hi!

Can anyone tell me what is the expected time of PPR after submission of Medical? Please find below my time line.

1. We received your application for permanent residence on December 15, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on February 19, 2015.
3. Medical results have been received.

I submitted my medical on 18th January, 2016 but still waiting for PPR request after 6 months already passed. I also initiated a CSE to London Visa Office but the answer I got is, your process is still under process.

Issue is we are expecting a child in December (2016) and it would be very difficult for my wife to travel in those days if PPR request actually comes. Can anyone guide me what should I do with this application? Should I tell them that my wife is pregnant and you need to extend my landing time or actually wait for PPR and then let them know about it?

I shall be highly grateful if someone guides me about it.

Thanks in anticipation.

(I am from Pakistan and I applied through FSWP in December 2014. London Visa Office is handling my case currently)

H
Salam to all Pakistani applicants,

The purpose of this thread is to create a network of Pakistani applicants whom cases have been reached to final stage of processing @ CHC London, and now they are waiting for their stage 1 or stage 2 letters (PPR) or planning to land in Canada this summer.

I encourage all such applicants to please come forward and join this network to help, share and support each other for a lasting relationship as they are going to start their lives from scratch in a new, strange and challenging country.

Finally only one line for motivation, please remember that "Together we can and together we will" InshaAllah. May Allah bless u with success in your future plans.
How can I check if my application has been transferred to London??
