Pakistani Applicants waiting for PPR (Stage 1 or 2 letters) from CHC London

Hi, what ever the fellow country people do but in Government books they are not considered productive citizens, as I have witnedded few in Alberta too that deliberately they do not work, or work on cash basis and result is Bad name to countries. One of my cousin who is having his business here, he sponsored 2 of his family members with proper documentation on work permit and alongwith them he applied for workpermit to two philipones surprisingly the philipones got their visa with in three months and his family members were still waiting for any information or letter from High Comission. two year has gone. ( to Indian , Philipones, and Chinese they fully trust) and 60-70 % of total visas goes to these three countries.


In my observation becouse of thses malpractices our visa quota were reduced from 14,000 ( 2000) to 3,000 (2012) and still planning to further reduce it. I agree with my friend. Canada is a country who belives in Record (Tax) etc. therefore the people are not only abusing the government system but also resulted in drastic reduction of our Quota.( Abusing prospective applicants). Any way if the whole nation is proud of these state, then who can Change us.

These people are dishonest in their countries and dishonest for forever. (Sorry to say). Now onward until and unless any immigrant do not pay their taxes, do not work, do not learn English he can remaina as Permenent resident and can not be a Citizen. They are tightening the Rope.

Recently we had the opportunity to ask the question about quotas for different countries from the Canadian Minister and he has categorically denied that there is anything remotely similar to a quota per country for immigrant and TRV visas. He did very candidly tell us the reason for the delay of all cases from Pakistan, however I cannot share that on a public forum like this.

All you can do is make sure your papers are in order, don't send difficult to verify documents (contrary to popular belief, CIC does not reject cases on the basis of non-standard documents, they just take a hell of a longer time to verify them) and hope for the best.

I think it is already established by Statistics Canada and you don't need an article from Dawn to make it more authentic

The writer himself is unsure about the reason the decline of immigrants from Pakistan.

While I cannot comment on his observation with the conservative nature of Pakistani males, I do however strongly agree with the observation he has made about the lack of social network (India vs Pakistan). The Indian community has a strong support system for new immigrants and that is the reason they integrate much faster into the Canadian job market, compared to Pakistani community.

Also, in-case anyone (new immigrant or old settler) is not aware, there is already a major point of contention between Pakistani community and Statistics Canada, that they do not have a category for Pakistani-Punjabi. All communities that identify themselves as Punjabi are considered Indian, even if they write Lahore, Pakistan as their birth place :-\ .. Several Pakistani communities along with Pakistan Embassy have already taken up this issue, so I will not comment any further, as I do not want to spark a political debate on this matter.

on May 15,2014,Got reply from London Visa office that my application is still under review with an officer and I should be hearing from them SHORTLY,however they also mentioned that they extended my medicals which have just expired on May 10 ,2014 and now it is valid till May 2015.

it is been 23 days since they said shortly and no PPR yet,I am going with my wife and 3 kids,and we are now extremely worried if they will delay us more and then we have to suffer delays to school and settle in a bad weather of winter.
What do u think guys?Do u think they will again postpone us till next year and suffer again like the last 4 years of waiting or it is just a matter of days more?
we are really frustrated me ,wife and even kids ,all plans on hold and time is running fast. I have expressed to them clearly that I am well settled financially and passports renewed for 5 years and scanned copies were sent long time ago ?
I really have no clue what they are waiting for?????

Why the urgency to move to Canada? Do you have a business plan in place?

Shortly does not mean anything for CIC, he is just being polite.

The fact that they extended your medicals is a sign that they will not be rushing your case. You can get the PPR in 1 week or you can get it after 3 months.

Hi,

I have sent my passport to Abu Dhabi from KSA for immigration visa pasting by using Aramex.
Its exactly 10 working days today but I have not heard neither from embassy nor from Aramex regardin passport return.
Question : what is processing time for visa pasting at Abu dhabi visa office. (PPR 2 says that it should take 10 working days)
Is there any member who faced same problem
