For members who have already landed, is there any procedure for PR card to be on given in a short time if one has a return ticket? I plan to travel by the end of December but have leave for only 4 weeks. I had read earlier about this on the forum but can't find the post now. Please advise.

No, but you can give your friend/relative, etc address to CIC, and when they receive the PR Card, they can courier it to you in Pak.

PR Card current processing time for newcomers is 38 days (as per CIC website)

Dear Brothers

Is there any one from Karachi who has issue in his passport that a given name is empty (blank) and actual name is reflected in the surname column of the pakistani passport?

If so how you resolved it? Any issues in submitting the case or later on.

Please reply.

No signatures required for kids
Just put the thumb impression of your kids
That's it
Congrats on PPR and what is your timeline please?

My daughter has only one name on all her documents like birth certificate even in all her immigration forms. On her passport her single name has written under surname and given name is also blank. I have send her passport copy along with other passports on 24th October as PPR1 request. I think there will be no issue on it.

same case was with my spouse, I send passport copy in ppr 1 and got ppr2 after 15 days. It doesn't cause any problem
