After my medical examination IOM had given a single form, duly signed by the doctor, stating the tests conducted. They asked me to send it to Embassy which i assumed to be CHC London and not CIC Canada. I sent those medical forms to CHC London but the medical results are not yet being indicated on e-cas after more than one month. Has that happened with any one else? Please share your experiences if you were also given those forms by the IOM.

Regards,
Normally applicants from GCC can see this line in their online status.
So nothing to worry about insha Allah all should be fine.
Just send an email to LVO and they will confirm you the status of your medical
Most probably they will also tell you what is the expiry date of your medical!

Assalam o alaekum,

I m from Karachi, Pakistan.I have applied for FSW in august 2011 with my family and giving medicals on 30th july 2013.Waiting for PPR1.I have emailed once to visa office last month and got the same typical reply that your case is under process and we will inform you within 28 days. I have been waiting since then, can anyone provide information that how much time usually the process takes to receive PPR1 or should I email again to London visa office for the same. As I have heard that for Pakistani's the process of receiving PPR1 takes at least 6 to 8 months.
Can anyone guide me regarding this issue.
Thanks.

Actually I would not advise any modification to the standard letter given. Canada receives a huge quantity of these letters from Pakistani DL applicants and they may catch any addition that you ask the traffic department to put in (e.g. Passport number) and look at it with suspicion.

I realized the frequency of issuing this letter, when I went to Abu Dhabi police for the authentication letter. I was struggling to explain to the cops what the letter is. However as soon as I said it is required for Canada everyone knew what it was and sent me to the exact person who issues.
