Salaam to everyone,

My e-case updated to DM today

"A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

but i haven't received PPR2 and its been 28 days since PPR1 was received...anything to be worried??????

Regard, Imran

You should send an inquiry to them because without asking for originals, usually they do not change the status. However, nothing to worry as you are sailing in the right direction and seem to be out of danger.

Dear Friends,

Can any one advise about the possibility and consequence, if a person writes to chc London that he can travel to canada after 8 months of medical expiry and not before that. Will he be still considered and granted visa, if he undergoes second medical.

dear all
congrats to all who have moved to the next stage of processing.
i will b leaving on the 1st of november to toronto.
i have a query:
i attended IOM session and there i was given accompanying goods list and goods to follow list. i wanna know if the list is long and i need another form to list all the things is it ok to photocopy the pages and add it to the original forms or should i just use a blank paper?
further more is it possible to get the original forms for any place.
secondly i will be carrying around 18000 CAD in cash with me. we r three family members. two adult and one kid. is it ok to carry this much money or will i have to declare it at the point of exit and entry.
regards
ovais
Firstly congratulation,
secondly ,no problem you can use photocopies of B4a
moreover currency for immigrants has no limit ,but dont forget to mention at port of entry and get signed by IO, all papers should be in duplicate to recieve your copy.

I appreciate your prompt response. So there seems to be no way to delay the case for few months. If we write them after medical and before issue of visa. Is that appropriate or feasible?

Regards,

AFTER MEDICAL AND BEFORE PPR1 LETTER, IT COULD BE POSSIBLE TO WRITE SUCH REQUEST WITH CONCENTRATE EVIDENCE REGARDING TO DELAY ETC. BUT STILL THIS KIND OF REQUEST WILL MAKE YOUR CASE COMPLICATE, AND FURTHER DELAY UNEXPECTEDLY.

Regards,

Once visa is issued, to become PR you just need to enter Canada.
Even if you return back the next day you will be PR and then you can take your time coming back whenever it's convenient, even after 8 months.

If they issue visa and you don't use it, it will expire. They will not renew it, you will have to re-apply for immigration to Canada.

Guys, a bit offtopic but I need your assistance. My application reached CIC in june 13 under fsw 2013 program and I have got my PER in Aug . When should I expect LVO giving me a medical call. People from CPP-O are getting medical calls and even some have got their PR as well. Their application reached in may.

Is it a different story for applicants from Pakistan. I mean do we get medical calls later than other nationalities for our prolonged background checks. or is it same all across the nationalities.

LVO have different time frame so just wait and relax. Hope FSW 2013 applicant will get medical calls in November/ December. So far they are trying to finish the backlog of 2010-2012.
