Pakistani Applicants waiting for PPR (Stage 1 or 2 letters) from CHC London

background checks for my file started in july 2013. from last nov to june file was in pending because of my son's medical results stuck with dehli office.

Honestly speaking in my own opinion this Background Check is just an excuse in real they are capping the immigration visa issuance to countries like Pakistan.

i appreciate your honesty and i'd be obliged if you could please explain your point a little... i do get it but i wonder why holding the file at this stage...

number of cases we are observing or applicants sharing the details are not the actual figure of people applying from Pakistan I am not sure the sum of forum peoples would be good enough to consider as a sample size for any statistical outcome. All I am seeing is that Visa Office is clearing cases with specific NOC's rest they are putting in a huge pile which they might clear in some X period and due to our poor academic values and ill practices all of us are not treated as real professionals in job market of Canada. So adding this and that issuance of Visa for us are very slow and to avoid any CASE which they had faced in past they started using their process checks as excuses for all such delays.

I agree with your observation ...as soon as IT field came in demand in Canada and was opened for Federal Skill stream, they started processing my case too after sleeping over it for a good number of months...both me and my husband are from IT. Previously, only IT Managers were eligible for FSW, now they have increased the scope for IT. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Since I just did my re-medical in August 2013 I have till 19th August 2014 to land in Canada.

No, PPR1 does not ask anywhere about photographs and that is why I am asking. I have seen many people sharing their experiences and sending photographs without demanding from immigration office and consider that it is an error. Should I send photographs or not. Send these 3 things, if they don't want they will put in trash doesn't effect your case at all.

1- Pictures(2) of you and your family
2- Passport Copies of you and your family
3- Page 4 of PHEP Letter - UPDATE Information Chart

Send and don't wait, sending pictures will not harm your case in anyway nor passport copies will do anything to effect your case.

Now they demand photos in PPR1 and in PPR2 they simply ask for original passports... I recently received PPR1 and then PPR2. Now waiting for visa. Regards.

Can some please tell that if someone land with $30,000 and later gets $100,000 in his account in canada will he be taxed on it and can he enjoy the benefit of low income regime?
