Pakistani Applicants waiting for PPR (Stage 1 or 2 letters) from CHC London

Dear All,

Just log in after a long time...

Landed safely on 11th of August 2013, Alhamdolillah.

Landing experience was superb, immigration staff at Toronto airport was so humble and welcoming.. no need to worry about any PR documentation. If someone want to bring something later on then don't forget to maintain B4 and B4A forms.

Life in Canada is good if I can compare it with my country.

Advice to all those planing to land... don't forget to bring your parents prayers with you... telling you this b'coz it helps me alot in settling here... with-in the period of 20 days I did all my documentation got drivers licence and above all a very good and permanent job in a USA based company in Canada and its all because of my parents prayers.

Finding a job in Canada is very easy but getting it is really a tough task... I know loads of people here... most of them are my friends landed here 6-8 months before me still waiting for permanent jobs.

I suggest all, never give up and keep your hope alive... don't rush for job when u land... do your paper work first coz it takes almost 10 days to complete all that after that look for job.

I applied for FSW visa back in 2011 and received an acknowledgement on May 31, 2011. I'm from Pakistan and my V.O is London. The L.V.O requested the medicals sometime at the end of year 2011 and asked to pay the RPRF as well. Later they requested the updated police certificates in July 2012 and asked to fill out the new IMM0008 forms. We submitted everything as requested by the L.V.O. After that there was complete silence for few months so I got concerned and tried to inquire about my application status couple of times and each time I received the same reply that background checks are outstanding. Now last month in August 2013 we again received a request to go through the medicals for the second time and they asked us to send the latest police certificates for the third time. The V.O has received the Medical reports and latest Police certificates this week. Now, I need to know what is going to be the next step and how long it will take to get the PPR ?? Thanks.

There is no accurate answer to this. If your background checks are complete, you could even get the passport request next week, if not you may still have many months to go. What you can do with the help of this forum is to observe the timelines of people who applied around the same time you did and figure out if 2011 applicants are frequently getting passport requests or not.

If you choose to look on the bright side, I have not heard of anyone been asked to do medicals for the 3rd time, so definitely 3 months before (that is the least validty of visa) September 2014 you will have your visa
