PPR is a Passport Request.

Usually, Pakistani resident applicant gets PPR-1 (steps 1)... which means "Visa office informs that the case is ready for visa issuance" and Visa office request Passport copies along with Photos and 1-page chart to complete and send to London/Paris.

PPR-2 is "Visa office asks applicant to send Passports to Islamabad office for Visa stamping." Usually applicant get Passports back in 10 -15 days.

From PPR1- PPR-2, on average it takes 3 weeks.

I am not sure if this process is same for other countries.

cheers!

Dear Senior Members,

I am 2013 FSW applicant and have recently received PER from CIC. They have told me that now my file will be moved to the local visa office responsible for my country. Which in my case is London visa office, since i am from Pakistan.

I have some queries related to visa process, as listed below, and would appreciate any help from you guys.
  • Will London visa office send any AOR? If yes then approximately how many days after PER.
  • What will be the next step in the process of immigration to Canada and any estimated timeline for it ?
  • How to contact London visa office to know if my application has reached them after PER or not ? Is it advisable to do this or not?
  • Any other information that can help me understand the process that i will be going through.

I would be thankful for any help!!
