hello,i applied for canadian immigration 2 years ago and Al7umdulilah everything went fine.I have a question please if anyone can answer it feel free to.

1.I got a letter not through email,they asked for few things and the biopage of the passports.Im
not sure if it was ppr1 but does it say on the paper that it is ppr1?.
2.Im a pakistani living in Saudi,do pakistanis in saudi get in the form
of two stages like ppr1 and ppr2,or just one direct ppr?

1. I also got biopage request first and thought it's ppr1...but it's not
later I got email to submit all previous passport biopage & address history since birth and phone number history since 2000!!!!

Dear Country Mates

I have recently applied under FSWP 2013 program. As per the PER received last month, my file has been transferred to London VO. Please share following

1- Does London VO notify about the application receiving means AOR ?
2- How much is the actual average processing times after the file reaches the London VO experienced by you people. On CIC website it is mentioned 21 months but I came to know that the actual time is much less than that.

After having PR Visa and landing for the first time,

Can we have a transit from JFK (American Airport) at New york with a stay of 11 hours.

I am a Pakistani Citizen Having Egyptian Residency.(Both need visa, to visit US)

US is paranoid about security, everyone on flights to US has to undergo several security checks.

Avoid the hassle and fly directly to Canada. Travel is already a hassle these days, why make it worse.

You will need a transit visa for US most probably anyway so I would strongly suggest to avoid it.

it is taking 20 days to 60 days, depends upon case to case. no way to contact with the ISD VO, because ISD is working according to instructions from LVO.
Just wait, relax, enjoy, and check the ticket prices, and how to settle in canada? NEKEOL

Hi members,

I have landed in Toronto safely. Now been a week and done with the SIN card and health card. Opened a bank account at TD bank. Got a unsecured credit card as well. Today passed my G1 license written exam. Have got the license of my home country verified from the consulate of Pakistan and will directly be giving the G license test by next week. Hope I pass. Will lease a car because don't want to block money by paying in full. Insurance you can expect to be in between 350 - 400 $ per month

Have rented out a place in Mississauga @ Winston Churchill and glen erin. It is a detached house having 5 bed rooms and 3 full washrooms with a basement apartment included. It cost me 2400$ per month . 1st and 3 months deposit. Will be getting the possession on 28th aug. Getting a job is a challenge. One need references to get into the Canadian market whereas odd jobs like in gas stations, security guard, mc donalds etc etc is always available but its always better to start off with something reasonable apart from these odd jobs.

Landing experience was really simple. even if u don't have the goods to follow list , they give u additional 2 months to submit it to the customs, immigration officer does not bother to c the funds u carry , all you have to do is mention it.

Rest all is fine. Pray members to succeed

By the grace of Allah and blessings of Ramadan I received the Visas and COPR yesterday... shiny Maple Leaf looks great..... Things went pretty fast in Ramadan, received passports back in just 04 days....

I thank all forum members for their great support and pray all of us get through the process as soon as possible and start new life in Canada...

In my case they took just 04 days to stamp the Visas ....
