If you asking for exact abbreviation cant define. Might be Passport _ _ Program some thing.
A Division of All Visa Office responsible to stamp the passports after all approvals done. All Applicants suppose to submit the passport o PHEP Department. Final destination of our application.

what is ppr2 means? sorry for silly question. I have got passport request on 17 june 2013 and I have sent them to london cic on 18 and it reached there on 19 according to royal mail. I am waiting for passport back. I am wondering, are they asking again anything like ppr2.

it is not applicable if your country allows you to send passport by mail.
hopefully you will get visa soon

Need your advice!

I am waiting for PPR1 with medical expired in Feb 2013. My passport is expiring in Feb 2014. In case, I expecting to receive by PPR1 soon (InshaALLAH), So, should I get my passport renew now or wait for re-medical and PPR1. AND
If, I renew my passport now, when it is not completely expire, what implications I can have on my case, because, I have already shared copies of my existing passport with immigration office at the time when I applied.

Thank you for your email regarding your application for permanent residence to Canada.

We are currently awaiting the results of your spouse's and dependant's medical examination results from New Delhi. We will be in contact once these have been received.

Qouted the previous mail above and I received the following mail from LVO yesterday in response to my CSI....

"We are currently following up with New Delhi with your medical examination's results. Once they have sent the results to us we will be in contact with further instructions for the processing of your file.

Kind regards, "

I could not understand it, have they received the results or still waiting for it????? any1 can help me????

Thanks. Just applicant name, file number, signed and dated. make three columns for S.No. Item Name, value in CAD. if used item make it for CAD1/-. took two copies each for things carried by applicant and goods to follow. it was very smooth. the border agency guard just stamped it. and given me a copy along with one printed copy of his office records and made my items zero valued. dont worry at all they are all cool people and will welcome you. everything is easy and straightforward. Just be truthful and declare whatever u have even mangoes and cooked food. they will allow you that as well.

In first response they told you the status that medicals are awaited. In 2nd email they told you that they have now contacted with New Delhi and still awaiting the results. Till then medicals not received.

But thank to Allah that they have started follow up. hopefully in couple of weeks issue will be resolved.

PPR1 & PPR2 is only for people which are not at UK. so you received only PPR.

PPR1 & PPR2 is only for people which are not at UK. so you received only PPR.

If your VO and residing country is different and you can not send you passport to VO e.g people of Pakistan can not send passport to LVO because its illegal to send the passport from Pakistan to outside country via mail, they will first receive the PPR1 , in which they will send the copy of passport to LVO and and LVO later send them PPR2 the submit the Passports in Local embassy / high commission in Islamabad.

I will correct Usma with apology, PPR1 and PPR 2 are not only for those who are out side UK, its for all those who can not send the passport to VO,I am Pakistan National residing in KSA I got direct PPR as there is no problem to send the passports via mail to LVO.
