Hi Mridul

This is extreme. Did you follow up with them as max. time limit given by LVO is 6 weeks. Almost all those who sent the passport in May end or mid may already received their passports back including me. It took only 28 days to get the passports back. Please follow up as strike have no impact on visa stamping.

Hi All! I did my medical on 23rd may 2013. When can I safely expect PPR to arrive. They have not changed even my case to "Medical Received" yet. I wonder how long would they take now, 3 months or 6 months!

hi As Mr Bader explained, this is the final destination of application after this VISA.

Assalam u alaikum. Yesterday i landed in Toronto. That was a great experience. everything was smooth and you need not to worry. all u need is your visa stamped passport, COPR, and the declaration card (which will be given to u by airline at the end of your flight). At Karachi airport you will need a photocopy of the passport and visa. You might be asked for the Original CNIC which i didnt had but the people were carrying it with them. However, the supervisor told me that its not required. Strange..... one staff was asking for that and the other one just said not required. In a nutshell i was allowed without any big trouble.
Last but not the least i once suggested at this forum to travel along with PIA, so i am stick to this after my traveling experience yesterday. Flight was smooth although took off 55 minutes late and the meal quality was average but still it was direct, smooth, well served and safe. Goodluck

Dear fellows,
Need your advice!

I am waiting for PPR1 with medical expired in Feb 2013. My passport is expiring in Feb 2014. In case, I expecting to receive by PPR1 soon (InshaALLAH), So, should I get my passport renew now or wait for re-medical and PPR1. AND
If, I renew my passport now, when it is not completely expire, what implications I can have on my case, because, I have already shared copies of my existing passport with immigration office at the time when I applied.
Thanks
