hi all
i was away from the forum for a while. congrats to all who have got progress in their applications. especially PHDmaker and PAWN. :)

i have a query which has been asked on this forum many times.
i wanna come back after landing in Canada. i intend to stay there for a month and then come back. i will permanently move to canada sometime in middle of 2014.
1. does it pose any risk if i come back without gettin the PR card as it take approx 2 months to get it. (i have family members in canada who can recieve it on my behalf)
2. is there anyway to expedite the process of getting the PR card?

ur suggestions will be highly appreciated.

regards

Dear All
Yesterday i have attended a 7 hour long online session along with 48 other participants from accross the globe, funded by the Canadian Govt and organized by the CIIP. This session will be followed by one to one MAP session today where they will give a personalised guidance based upon your circumstances and FSW category.
I would like to suggest every forum member who have applied under FSW that he mist get himself registered through IOM and must attend this online session. This session was an eye opener and will help you assess your preparation well before you land in Canada.
They will let you know how to choose the city/province to land, how to prepare Canadian CV/resume, how to hunt job, Canadian culture, work environment, useful websites, do(s) and dont(s).
Dont miss this opportunity.
Best Regards and Good Luck

Correction.... anyone who has received the medical instructions can get registered with CIIP on-line through the following link... No need of IOM...

http://www.newcomersuccess.ca/index.php/about-ciip/how-to-register-with-ciip?lang=en-GB

Also CIIP will connect you with various immigrant serving organizations across Canada which would provide you FREE OF COST guidance about settlement and job search issues including on-line mentoring through Canada INFONET.... All considering your profession and intended place of landing.... Far far better than IOM session....

Every FSW applicant must attend CIIP, highly recommended...

congrats aftab!
