Yesterday By the Grace of Almighty I received My Passport with VISA and COPR. Its been long 3 1/2 years journey. My case was initially rejected in January 2012. However immediate enquiry even before receiving rejection letter made the difference and file got re-opened immediately. I remain silent reader of this forum for the past 3 1/2 years. I used to visit this forum daily and similarly visit ecase status on daily basis. This habit got me saved as the day my status got updated to Decision Made without receiving any Medical I immediately contacted CIC for reasons for rejection through my consultant. In the end I want to thank the active and star members of this forum Your guys are doing great job. Total Time of this amazing journey is 3 Years 7 Months 3 Days. Best of all luck to all the hopefuls.

Congratulations Waqar,
i m so glad to see that u also received your PPR2 finally..
inshallah your Visa and COPR will arrive soon as well :)
well i have one slight problem and need the advice of seniors here,
on the COPR for my daughter, the Date of Borth of my daughter is wrong.. infact the Date of Birth on the Medicals forms was also wrong, and we had emailed CIC London to correct it, but never got any reply from them on this.. so i went ahead with hte same form, and got the medicals done.. the doctor there, wrote a note on the medical form that the DOB for my daughter is wrong and it should be ________. and we went ahead withth emedicals..
now the dob on the copr is still wrong..
please advice what i should do now..
waiting for your advice and feedback.
regards..
If u have enough time left after medicals before landing in canada then better rectify the error. I think i read in PPR1 update form that the information here will be used for the issuance of visa and subsequent formalities in Canada.
However, if u think that the correction will risk your visa then its better if u overlook this error for now.

TCS just Delivered our Passports to CHC Islamabad and received by Danish... :)

MUBARIK Ho bhai
Best of luck for your new life in canada , where are u planning to land ?
Best wishes for all waiting for whatever ;)
Regards

It would be great if people who have landed in different parts of Canada can share their experience of getting jobs, accommodation and general settlement in Canadian culture (note: I dont mean landing experience).

It would help us souls who are still perplexed about where to land. Perhaps we can start a new thread where people can only share their experience after landing.

Regards
Zeeshan

Brilliant idea :)

we see our all backlog file is showing elimination

Dear Backlog Friends,

Last day after 12 pm BD time(Canada time night 1 am) we see our file is showing elimination.
We are not thinking that our file is really canceled (Its temporary out) Following Reason:-

1.Before canceled file our E- status must show DECISION MADE after 1 to 2 week it will be eliminate.
This is not any system in cic direct canceled.

2.Fee Returns for Federal Skilled Worker applicants affected by the backlog elimination measure:
Your FSW application has been terminated by operation of law if:

you applied before February 27, 2008, and
a decision based on FSW program selection criteria* was not made on your application by an immigration officer before March 29, 2012.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/notice-returns.asp

3. Still have BEFORE February 27, 2008 Processing times for federal skilled worker applications 83 Month.

4. If 83 month have in cic side so at a time not possible all applicant 2004 to 2008 file elimination.

5. still court decision going to fever to all Backlog person hope this medial of march get final decision positive.

I know one man who apply 2010 and now he got visa waiting to fly Canad his file e status was like us not show any thing and after 3 month he get MR then PR but still his file not show in e-status.

So don't think our file is decision made, Just we need to wait approximately(last time in process out 21 days) next 21 days or within may/jun 2013 then hope we will get a good news inshallaha.

Thanks
Zafrul Hasan
