We had had our DDs for immi fees & newborn addition from Wallstreet exchange. They make DD from Soneri bank who never confirms encashment of DDs even after many requests

This time I'm looking for better alternative.

Yes from Pakistan, but Iam in Canada, so my parents did this for me. If I remember correctly it was wall street and it took them 10 days to confirm, but iam not sure

Wallstreet exchange charge some fee to confirm whether DD has been en-cashed.

I also made DD from there. But the good thing is that it always gets en-cashed without any problem.

Hmmm........ I'm not aware of it as I used to contact Soneri Bank directly for getting info. on encashment.

Agreed........if someone has delayed plan of landing then he/she must have longer validity of passports from medicals date.....
if someone like me have plan to land within 1 month after issuance of VISA then i have no need of renewation of passport as my Medical done is in NOV-12 and expiry of passport is in NOV-13........so as soon as i get Visa i will land within next 1 month..

I think it is wise to play safe and account for contingencies.

I emailed today to my Visa Officer for medical reports receipt confirmation & for current application status update. He/She replied within an hour with,

- Confirmation of medical examination reports receipt

- Asked for landing fee submission within 60 days

Since there are no words in email about Background checks & passport request, should we assume B/G checks completion & ppr request as soon as they encash landing fee draft?

Its almost 7 weeks now since i sent documents of PPR 1 to LVO PHEP. But still no response from them. I earlier sent email to their email id for which i got no response and its now 14th day. Last Thursday i sent CSI to them through website. and its now 4th day to it. But no response. I am really getting frustrated now. My medical is expiring on 2nd November, 2013 and passport expiring on 23 Feb 2014. My wife is also pregnant (chances) and i want to have a child now. Please friends suggest me what should i do now.

Should i contact Islamabad office. Because LVO send instructions to Islamabad office for PPR 2 and then send instructions to applicant. How should i contact Islamabad office.

Please friends guide me. I am really very worried about it.

My Dear Twisties, please check out my timeline, I am waiting for PPR-2 from Last 100 + days. Don't worry and be patience. 3 CSI sent to LVO but no response yet. Let's hope for the best. Allah Khair karyga In shaa Allah....
