AOA,

everyone

my landing experience

Very Pleasent & Speedy

1.) during flight received declearation form.

i fill that form before my plane landing.

what important in this form.

Applicant name and spouse name.

your canadian address( if you have)

amount decleration how much you have more than or less than $10,000.

and signature this form.

one tip regarding this form " don't mentioned goods to fallow" means if you mentioned that you have some goods which you bring after landing must be provide list and in case of jewelry photograph. so don't mentioned goods to fallow.

after landing toronto airport i went to immigration officer and told him that i am new immigrant. he ask me about "COPR AND PASSPORT" I give him both to immigration officer he told me wait 5 minuts, after that he sign in copr form and give me to sign both copy and than he stamp on passport and told me that you will received your pr card within 4 to 6 week in you meintioned address.

after that i went to cbsa counter and give him decleration form he ask me about amount how much i have and any thing i fallow after landing .

the whole process was complete within 30 minutes, and i left peason airport.

with thanks

jewa

and lastly my best wishes and pray with the forum members for their speedy process.

The endless wait for PPR1 .................. :-\

Dear fellow members.. Alhamdulillah, Landed safely in Calgary today, via Montreal. Weather is good over all, bit hot in day and pleasant at night with nice n cold winds.

Just wanted to share something with guys like alvee and others, who will be landing in different cities apart from your destination city.

There's nothing wrong in that, you can use any city for POE. Your immigration paper work will be done wherever you have landed. However, insist the officer to try to process your case 1st as you have a flight of another city to catch.

I had 5 hours waiting time at Montreal airport for my Calgary flight, but dealing with luggage and then waiting for my turn to meet immigration officer took me more than i expected and i missed my Calgary flight. Although, Qatar airways didnt bother us and made arrangement in very next flight to Calgary for us (which was early in the next morning) n everything went smooth.
but still i had to stayed at the Airport's hotel for the night. I enjoyed the stay in Montreal and everything was good but i actually stressed out in the beginning.

So i suggest you guys, if you have a connecting flight to any other destination in Canada, complete your immigration process/paperwork right away after you land!

safe.

Dear Seniors

I was asked by my VO to send updated IM form ASAP as there is a gap in my personal history as I missed to mentioned my un-employment period and study period of my Master degree (the qualification was mentioned in education section). I sent it accordingly. As my file was under review after background checks before isuuing of PPR-i. Whether this would effect my case anyway?

Thanks

Qias
