Alhamdulillah, My hubby recieved PPR 1 via email yesterday afternoon....Inshallah all those waiting for PPR 1 and 2.....by end of this year we all shall be planning to fly to CANADA........

Hi Friends,

We have applied for Immigration under FSW program and we got Medical papers in February, 2012 and we sent them back within 30 days.

Can you tell me how long do we have to wait to hear back from the VO? Our VO is London, England. The online application status does not state that they have received our Medical papers. Should I be worried?

It has been over 6 months since we sent our Medical papers. Do I need to be worried that I have not heard back from VO?

It has been six months for me as well. Just be patient. Security checks take varying number of months for each applicant. You might, however, send a case-specific enquiry to London VO if you have not done so until now.

Do you know of some other cases who got PPR after more than 6 months? What are our chances? Any guess?

@ beckett, there is a pattern which i have seen for PPRs. ALL of my friends who applied after June 2010 have received their PPR 1 or atleast they have received their MR within a year of getting AOR.

All other friends who have applied before June 2010 are waiting for PPR even when MR and RPRF are paid. I gather that MI1 are on hold or atleast not top priority (which obviously means more agony).

Well, in this week alone we have seen three MI1s get PPR 1. I agree that post June 2010 are faster, but some April MI1s got their PPRs. It's only feb/march ones that seem cursed with longer BG checks.

Yes, my last CSE was mid August at my 5 month post med mark. The answer was that BG checks are still ongoing. I dare not send another one, though I am thinking I should send one since six months have gone by. Last week one applicant got PPR after 7 months! Most get theirs by thd five month mark, so I admit I am very disheartened.
In fact, I am thoroughly disgusted to be honest!
