I have gone through different topics on this forum...MI-1 is one of the most discussed these days, specially, for last 24hrs, as someone wrote that, his embassy has informed him that ppr will be issued in 2013 for MI-1, thus this info creating alot of panic....
Let me share my thoughts...
1. It is still not clear which embassy/visa office he belong to, who wrote him/her a confidential statement.
2. I BELEIVE, yes there are qouta's for every country....and which has to be consumed in 12 months, not in beween...else what will they do in rest of the months?? what if some embassy utilizes his quota in first two months....? what will they do rest of the year?? I beleive embassy's are departments of forien ministry....and qouta for each embassy/department is issued by minister (Kenny), so what the departments will tell their headoffice that we are done with the quota, and we are now resting...
3. My consultant told that Pakistan is alloted with a 5000 applicant qouta this year(Exclusive of Visit/student visas) And (Inclusive of FSW/Investment Category/PNP all streams/sponsor cases/workpermits etc)
I don't know about the exact qouta, but I beleive there must be a quota....and as a general rule/practice, quota in every field of life is consumed more from 0-8 months and then get slow down in last 4 months...
I beleive there is NO pause for M1-1 OR any other MI, BUT they are just trying to make it till december.
Its just a matter of time, Inshallah, we will be start getting good news.....
4. Moreover, what I felt that everyone is getting worried those who did their medicals, in 2012, that they might hit by new policies in 2013, and thats why there is a delay in PPR....Again I beleive, those who are through with medicals, there is absolutly no way they will come under such threat, because, if new policies are implemented on applicants with complete medical....then VO have to restart the case by again counting the points, and background checks, and spouse IELTS etc, and by then medicals will be expired, so they will be issuing re-medicals, hence creating backlog, and will be criticised again after refusing all 2008 and before applicants...
What I think, those who are holding 6-8-12 waiting letters, yes they are more likely to be affected by new policies....
So all MI's and specially the oldest MI-1 applicants, we know the CIC is very uncertain, but still they are not as uncertain or unpredictable as we think...
Be positive....
These are all my point of views.....
