Pakistani Applicants waiting for PPR (Stage 1 or 2 letters) from CHC London

I initiated a CSI a week ago and day b4 yesterday I received following response from IO:

"Your application is awaiting the review of an immigration officer".

I want to ask you guys what do you think is this a generic response or what ?

Also does any one of you have received PPR from IO with initial NXR as my CSI was responded by him/her.

You can send the form with your PPR-1 documents.

Can you please explain me the process of getting the Police Clearance Certificate?

I am asking your favor to guide my sister who lives there and is FSW1 MI3 applicant

You may ask them to go to kacheri Saddar at DPO, SSP Office where they will issue the application forms and the same will be marked to concerned police station for verification and other formulaties. which after completing these will have to go to concerned DSP Office for signature, then again All that documents along with all required/asked documents will be submitted in DPO/SSP Office in Kacheri Saddar Office, who will finally issue the police Clarence certificate.

I seriously think that our (MI-1) PPRs ( Medical Done on Feb, March ,April) are on hold for unknown reason.

Otherwise background check for 5 to 6 months doesnt make any sense ,when the same process of background check completed in 2-3 months for previous applicants

i think more Changes upcoming for Immigration proces by Minister Kenny, so they are waiting for some instruction. bcoz it is observed that when new chnages req they slow the process..

Dear Friends
In June 2012 , in response to my email , CHC London informed me that they anticipate completing review of M1 applications by end of June 2012 , and they will inform applicants by the end of August 2012.

I submitted my complete documents in April 2010 to LVO , and my ecas is "In-process" since May 2011 , and till date I have got no intimation / update.

Can you advice how long will I have to wait further or there is additional delays.

Many of my friends who applied 11 months after me have got their meds done.

Alhamdullilah,

We got our passports today with visas.
our pp were reached Islamabad on 27th August and we got back today on 1st sep,wowwww within 6 days.

Also got Canadian address on ecas.
