Pakistani Applicants waiting for PPR (Stage 1 or 2 letters) from CHC London

I have send my PPR1 to LVO and they received it already on 20th August, 2012. I have also taken out my funds from bank and converted them into USD$. Please need ur guidelines now that at this stage will they gonna check my bank account for proof of funds???or is it ok?

dear all i forgot to ask u very important question. Did u receive Ur documents back? i mean your transcripts, degrees, birth certificate, employment letter etc. IF yes then when? I did not receive any of these documents. Neither after submitting updated documents(PCC, RPRF etc) nor after PPR1. what do u suggest? should i wait or what. should i write them after receiving PPR2 inshalla. your guidance is awaited.

You can see the progress of my case on left side. Since March 2012 once I submitted my RPRF, PCC, MR, Travel History and Updated Form, I did not hear anything from CIC.
Since then I sent my first CSI three days back and got this reply today about 15 minutes ago.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your message. Please be advised that the above file is currently undergoing routine background checks and you will be advised if any additional information is required.

I know its a generic reply, and mostly those with sent MR in Jan and Feb 2012 applicants are getting PPR1, very few March 2012 have PPR1. And I feel I need to wait for few more months.
Can anyone comment what this reply acutally means for me?

Anyone else who VO is NMP? Can someone comment about him/her?

Today I received the same reply of "background checks in progress" for my CSI sent yesterday. My VO is RIH, a bit fast in responding emails BUT slow in case processing.

At this point what they mean by background checks? Do they mean it by criminal checks or something else?

I have a plan to fly after Eid as I need to roll back a few matters that can take more than a month.But after Eid flights are more reserve then ever.
Qatar air line is best option both in service and price.
Let see what I can get but travel agent says seats a available in mid of october in gud price as Eid is by the end of October.

It is recommended that one should not deplete funds from account till Visa. It is very rare that they enquire about POF after medical but it is wise to keep the funds in a/c. US$ a/c is fine and you can show it if they demand.
