Thats great. Whats his timelines? By the we both have approx. same time lines. any news of PPR1 from your side?

I'm still waiting..... and his time line is

We received your application for permanent residence on January 4, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February 23, 2010.
We transferred your application to the London England office on July 27, 2010.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 1, 2012.

Also following was the response from received few days ago against CSE:

Please be advised that we are currently awaiting for the background checks to be completed and for the results to be provided to us. We are unable to provide ant time frame as the time taken for background checks differs for every file.

So this means effectively they are just waiting for the input from BGC.

Hi can anybody guide me what is the procedure for applicants in Saudi Arabia for PPR whether passport is sent to London office or Riyadh office.

Dear seniors,

I ve dispatched my PPR1 dox to LVO and they received it on 22nd August, 2012. LVO did not ask for POF at any stage(at Medical n PPR1 stages)In my CAIPS notes they wrote that PA is claiming _______CAD$ in his account.Bank letter and account summery is on file.....LICO appears met...no concerns..
Due to some domestic reasons i had to draw the amount out of my account.will that be ok???
I will carry the amount at the time of landing later after 1 0r 2 months time after PPR2 stage.....
i wanna ask that will that hurt my case at this stage or they will verify the POF again at this stage???

I dont think they will verify you bank account at this stage. Insha Allah you will get PPR 2 soon.

to be on safe side one must maintain required funds till the time visa is stamped.

Inprocess Date
Medical Request Date
Medical Done

you can sense by combining the above factors and by reading the post on this forum the issuance of PPR-1. BUT, this will be a speculation. Somtimes some thing happens all of a sudden and from no where. May ALLAH help us all.
