Although the incoming speed of PPR-1 is slow but people from MI-1 are started getting PPR-1. InshaAllah we will be having one very soon. I have received reply from LVO that the background checks are still in process and they cannot say anything until they got the BG check results. Hopefully for most of us BG checks are in process. Lets see how long these BG checks will take.

Thanks

Correct, reply to my CSE in June said the same thing that BGC are in progress.

Hello to every one,

I am new in this forum, I did my medical in March 2012 and still wait for PPR from LVO.

Got news that some of March medicals applicants have been recieved PPR 1.

Regards
logical
I also did my Meds in March 2012, and waiting for PPR1. There might be very few applicants from March 2012 who have got PPR1.
Because CHC London is not yet finished with Feb 2012 applicants. To be on safe side I am expecting my PPR1 (Inshallah if all went well) by Oct 2012.

Dear Seniors,

Pls looking forward for the answer to my query......I just made new passports for my kids age, 11 years, 7 years n 3 years.......On the 2nd page of the passports, In signature zone......who is authorize to sign, me or my spouse??

Best Regards,
7 and 11 years old can write their names, and for 3 year old any parent pref'bly mother should sign it.

Guys,

I got a reply to my CSE today from CKL saying that they are waiting for BGC results which vary from case to case and can not move forward unless they have the BGC input.
So it is very clear that VOs/IOs are pretty much dependent on the results of BGC performed by CBSA/other agencies and it is not in their control unless they have something in their hand. Only prayers can make it quick now. :)

Regards

I had sent a CSE yesterday since it is now five months since my Meds reached LVO. Today I got a very disappointing reply:
Background checks outstanding at present.

I am so deflated. After 5 months this is what I get as a response.
