Kindly throw some light on this situation......what they are up to now??what i have concluded that LVO has completed my BC(Background checks) and now my file is awaiting VO review......Is that right?
Please forecast seniors that how long this review will take???

It seems like your background checks are over. You might get PR next week! Pray for us as well. My meds were received at LVO on 16 th march.

I received this email from NMP on May 22, 2012 in response of my CSI.

" Thank you for your message. Please be advised that the above file is currently awaiting officer review and you will be advised if any additional information is required."

My timeline is almost same as yours. Medical received by LVO on March 21. Still waiting for PPR.

I need to know one thing. One of my friend wants to travel 2 months before his passport got to expire. Can he do that or he has to renew passport. The Canada PR visa is on the passport.

I dont think that it is a problem, but some countries ask for 3 or 6 months validity to issue the visa.

No they dint mention any extension on my medicals and it was a standard step 2 letter requesting PP.

I am hoping to get it before medical expiry and fly before they expire as to avoid any further delays.

My medicals are due to expire in early December so plans are in september and initially Calgary. or Alberta

Thats good...I am also thinking of landing to calgary..Calgary is a city in Alberta province. Another good city of Alberta is Edmenton. Please do let me know about your flight plan when finalized. Ticket cost would be more than that of Toronoto (more than 100k PKR per passenger).

well i have a question regarding MR.

How can i come to know that LVO got my MR along with PCC, Background/Declartion form and RPRF. is he/she send me any confirmation mail or anything else? becuase my MR received by LVO on 20th July and after that there is no news.

Unfortunately LVO do not provide you any confirmation after receiving of these documents. So keep track of your TCS shipment for documents. Also after considerable time (lets say three months, as LVO asked you to wait for atleast 4 months for a response) you can generate CSI asking about receiving of these documents. I did the same and got positive response within couple of days.

I inquire from Ahsan Waheed Rathor's Clinic they said that adult fee 3500 each child fee 2200 each, X-rays from Shoukat Khanum 650 Each and courier charges 4500

(3 Persons)
Adults (2) = 7000
Child (1) =2200
X-Ray (3)= 1950
Courier = 4500
Total = 15650

i made an inquiry from Dr. Amer Iqbal's Clinic the said 3650 for adult, 1750 for Child including X-Rays and Courier

(3 Persons)
Adults (2) = 7300
Child (1) =1750
X-Ray (3)= Included
Courier = Included
Total = 9050

Such a big difference, Why?
