I would suggest that you send CSI to CHC London to check the current status of your application and and they will update the exact situation
when ever your send update docs to CHC London they first en cash your DD and they start further processing your case

Inshallah, you will get your passport soon too.

Heartiest Congrats........Keep remember us in your prayers

First CSE I sent was in early June to which I got reply, file is going under Background Checks.

I sent a CSE on 6th July and there was no reply, then sent another a couple of days ago to check the status and still no reply. I guess no point sending CSEs if they are not going to reply. :-[

I said so....no point in sending CSE. So very very disheartening.

It feels really frustrating if we dont receive replies for our CSIs and the time is over 4 months. I received reply from CKL in about 10 working days.

A small but important thing is remember to write "URGENT" in your subject. May be this helps. But still, replies are coming very slow, may be Assistants are waiting for Background Checks results.

I am also planning to launch a CSI on coming friday as waiting time of 4 months is over.

May ALLAH help us all.

My experience about CSI is: when they think the reply is necessary, they do it promptly. Otherwise they dont even bother.. but it also depends on your IO. My IO was LBM, n the reply percentage was 90% throughout my case.

the WALLSTREET takes Rs1000 if we want to check the status of DD(if they provided us the DD) whether encashed or not...they say its bank fee
From Dollar East it's free. You can check status of DD as many times as you can. They won't charge anything for it.

For me it has been 4.5 months but no satisfactory reply to my CSE. I was, in fact, told off! I suggest not sending one at all. It only results in further heartache. At least I felt very let down with the reply and regretted having sent one.
Best,

Thanks for your wishes....which city r u from??

I am from Karachi.

Today I went to Driving Licence place at Clifton, and got N.O.C.(No Objection Certificate) which cost me Rs.300/- and have also applied for International Driving Licence which will cost me around 1200 to 1500 and it will be valid for 1 years so I can drive in canada right away.

Just sharing information for everybody who are planning to move to canada soon.

Yes indeed they reply for the very first time but in the next query they might be waiting for any progress in applicant's case because it is useless to send the same reply again and again. VO have a very important role to play in this as well.

Best of luck
