Thank you very much for the reply brother! :) I am going to do the same but rather than using an ink pen, I am going to write with a black pointer; hope it works! (?)

Use felt pen, they probably don't need any impression of writing on your pic

Anybody has experienced this ?
My daughter has a single word, name no surname attached as per th birth certificate. In passport this name is mentioned against surname and passport officer told me that single name is always displayed in first column that is for surname. given name column is empty, do you think it may create any problem? this is the same passport I have submitted with my full documents to CHC.

I had same issue with my children, so passport officer put my second name in front of their given name.

Finally I received my step 1 request.
But am very close to medical expiry ... Anyone ideas on what happens if I receive step 2 and medicals expire? Have heard somewhere that they can extend the expiry upto 15 months?? Dont know how true it is ....

I also suffered the same situation. My wife MR showed First name of mine. I requested them to change the MR. They sent me the revised with my wife's single name.
I think you need to be very cautious of the fact all the time.

Well guys...just to share my personal view on this, my both daughters got admission in a good school and i just enrolled them. I had to face some financial impact out of it...but its our children we are talking about :). We should prepare ourselves for the worst case scenario as well......however as i said before...this is just my point of view.

Arsalan, I also got my children admitted for the new session and obviously it costs. Yes hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

What is PPR 1 and PPR 2. SO far I have heard PPR. Does it mean first part or second part? pls explain.

Agreed with Imran and Arsalan. I also got my daughter admitted in pre-school for september session although am very hopeful and expecting PPR1 soon :)
But for parents of a pre-schooler I think it is the best decision atleast their young beings get to know how to socialize and will learn how to adjust in new enviroment so afterwards it will help them when they will reach to ENTIRE new enviroment :)
Regards

Cyma, as far as pre school is concerned it is wise to get your child admitted in a school. Insha Allah you will be having your PPR very soon. Applications from May-July 2009 are having PPRs these days. Thats your analysis i read on the same forum.

Remember us in your prayers
