I had the nearly the same issue. There is no fixed time for completion of background checks. Normally it all goes well. All you can do is to wait and keep reminding them but after a reasonable interval. Hope for the best!msaleemb said:Dear Friends,
I am an applicant of 2004 and did medicals in October 2011. I sent an email to London office on July 3, 2012 and received following reply on July 4.
Dear Applicant,
In response to your email, please note that your file is currently undergoing routine background checks. Whilst we appreciate that your medical examination results are due to expire on 13-10-2012, we are currently unable to advise when the checks will be completed.
Please note that no further action is required from you at this stage. We will contact you as soon as the results of the background checks have been received.
Yours faithfully,
RIH
Program Assistant

PPR1 docs received at LVO on 14th June...PPR2 on 4th July...
Sent them a query to check if they have received my docs and got PPR2 as a reply in less than 24 hours
That feels good !!!!
All I wrote was that "my documents were delivered at your office on xx date, please can you confirm if you have received them. Also, could you please update me on the status of my application. Thank you for your support. Best regards, xxxxxx"Optimist22222 said:Wow That means I should also send a CSE. My PPR-1 was delivered on 19th June, 2012.
I wonder, what query should I make.
