I guess connecting from this forum was the most sensible thing ive ever done.. It actually gave me some real guidance and with the help of your support, i am enjoying this moment.. However, i havent sent my passports to ISB yet, will be sending them tomorrow inshahAllah.
Well, it was a long wait, since feb 2009 till July 2012.. imran01 can understand better as his process was older n longer than mine..
I am planning to depart for Calgary in September, inshahAllah.

I sent them an email the other day to register and they have sent a form to be completed....but my question is...they have asked for file number and the PPR1 letter and all other personal info....is it ok to share with them...cos based on all the info we give them...they can check our ECAS and stuff....

I wasn't feeling comfortable sharing the info....what do you suggest??

Also....is it worth going to for the whole day :o ??

Heartiest congratulations dear..

Good luck for the life ahead in Canada.

Regards,

The thing is...they are CIC deputed agency and can be trusted for this sort of info sharing.
In my understanding, CIC may already have given them some limited (viewable etc) access to applicant's database so whenever there is a request for participation in a session they can crosscheck if the given stats are correct and application is on the final stages of processing
Otherwise many of our folks would like to go there even before applying (u know 'us') :)
For timing, usually they close the session once people are done with their questions and it can vary from group to group and place to place.
The lady facilitating sessions is a grounded person and knows a lot of practical stuff about living there which most of us would like to learn about
Would suggest you to participate

Thx....still don't feel comfortable...but...will send it if u suggest.... :)

Do we need to send the PPR1 email or the PPR1 attachment??

Simply send the filled form with a confirming note......no need for ppr1 email or attachment
I did the same and it worked
