Pakistani Applicants waiting for PPR (Stage 1 or 2 letters) from CHC London

Dear friends,
I am new on this forum though i was reading the post continuesly for last couple of months. Today by Grace of All Mighty ALLAH i received passports with permanent residency for my family. My medical expiry is 6th july,2012.

That was close man!!

After 11 months of (Medical+PCC+RPRF) they asked me to provide these documents again.
please comment/Advise.

Please send clear legible photocopies rather than the original documents unless otherwise specified. If the documents are not written in either English or French, please enclose a certified translation with a photocopy of the original document.

Updated forms which are available on our website:
New Application for Permanent Residence IMM0008 form for the principal applicant
New Schedule A/Background Declaration form for yourself and each family member over the age of 18
New Additional Family Information form IMM5406 for yourself and each family member over the age of 18
Work experience documents.

Please submit all original experience letters for the main applicant.

Education documents.

Please submit all original education documents for the main applicant (including secondary and post-secondary/university credentials).

Please forward all requested documents together to the address below within 45 days from the date of this email. If we do not hear from you within that period, your application will be assessed on the basis of the information on file and your application may be refused. Please allow four months for us to review incoming correspondence. All documents submitted in support of your application are subject to verification with the issuing authority. Please do not contact us unless there are significant issues which need to be brought to our attention. Please quote your file number on all correspondence, including the envelope.

My time span for this application is around 6 years, starting in feb 2006.
medical : 6th july,2011
ppr1 : 4th May, 2012 received by London office on 9th May
ppr2 : 11th june and received passport today (21st June,2012).

I was in contact with London office since March 2012 and they keep replying me with my status update till last moment.
Throughout the time Visa office was very helpful and gave me proper guide because one of my son got his PR from London office and remaining of us got from Islamabad office.

First of Many congrates for your success.
I need some info from you as you said that your son got PPR from London and you got it from Islamabad.
My concern is how you sent your passports i.e you sent separately and your son sent separately from London?
As I am in London and my dependents are in Pakistan so same is the situation here.

That is something difficult to digest, did you submit all originals earlier and they returned or you never submitted originals, did you fill new forms earlier and same forms they are askung again.

This is strange ???

I emailed my visa officer asking about medicals recipt and old address in ecase, got the reply below after 13 miniutes exactly.

Thank you for your email.

It is likely that your medical results are awaiting review and input. Background checks are currently in process for your application. We will contact you again as soon as we are able to.

Our system shows the following mailing address for you:
XXXXXXXX
It appears there are some problems with the e-cas online system and it has been showing conflicting information. Unfortunately, we have no access or input to this system.

For adults, passport officer at the time of delivery tells to sign so please sign on your passport too.
For children, I think thumb impression is not required because at the time of making passport the passport office waives thumb impression for children.
By the way, have you received PPR2.

Thank you for your response. I was wondering that not all passports of myself and family have signature/thumb impressions. I have sent the copies to London after PPR1. I hope it won't be an issue.
I am still waiting for PPR2.

Dear All, yesterday i send email to LVO and see following reply i got, i asked them as 120 days passed since MR issues but MR received line nt added and update regarding the BG Check
they replied


Background checks are still outstanding and may take 2 to 3 months to complete.

We cannot comment on the ecas status as this service is not administered in London.
