Our Dilemma: The Endless Wait ..............

I long wanted to share what I have been feeling for some time since I applied for Immigration and specially since I got the Medical Done & Sent the Updated Docs.
As an FSW MI 1 applicant, always have felt like hanging in between not being able to make decisions due to unknown timeline of the outcome, change of job both me and my wife, have kids continue in school, get some investment done for future, get some certifications done (which I can not with a full time job).
Hope is the only thing we hang by but is it all worth it, the wait, the agony ?
Not sure what comments do you guys have, but you are the people I think will be able to relate to these things. Any comments are appreciated. :-)

Regards

Brother you are so right.. i am with you on every single point.. i applied in feb 2009 n we were not able to do anything futuristic in last 3 years.. no planning at all.. living in a joint family system, moved from my old residence in august 2009 (though never wanted to leave my place), thinking probably our case will be finalized within an year, why not live with other family members in the meantime. though the new place was too far from our job etc.. nothing happened in last 2 years, when we finally thought of getting back to our old residence, my MR came..
then again there was silence for 4 months! frustrated.. we almost moved back, n very next day we got our PPR-1 :/ (Thnks to God)
all the expenses, hard times we faced, for nothing..
So my brother.. i can understand what you feel.. even i got angry too, by reading their standard set of instructions which came with PPR-1; "Not to sale any property n stuff unless you got the visa etc.."
I hope, now our cases will go through smoothly.. you have done your Medicals too, I hope you may get the happiness of PPR-1 soon, inshahAllah..

Ladies and Gentlemen!

We finally received our passports with Canadian PR visas a while ago, today. :)

Though surprisingly, they were delivered by TCS to our home.

Thanks Mythestic, yeah I agree on the disclaimers that are on every letter but then some risks need to be taken, you can not safe play everything.

Dear Friends,
AOA

I would like the members of below group share thier thoughts / preference for opting the cities they intend to land in Canada. (Calgary & Toronto)

1)Is this bcoz they have some relatives thier and they feel it would help them adjust and acclimatize easily?
2) Is it bcoz of the fact that they feel that living expenses are relatively on lower side, like house rentals and communting expenses etc?
3) Most importantly is there any thought behind the intended destination based on relatively better chances of getting job early in the field of thier interest / aligned with thier academic background or professional experience?
4) Do they feel calgary or toronto being more suitable for professionals from IT / Accountants etc?

Would really appreciate if all members shed some light on above queries breifly.

Many thanks!
HAK
