Dear Friends,

What does this MI-1, MI-2, MI-3 stands for? There is a lot of discussion going on the forum these days with regards to quote for MI-1 , MI-2 etc but i am not aware of this, would apprecicate if any of the senior members could briefly explain about it with any related link to read about it in detail.

Like other members i am also looking forward to PPR1 as i had medicals done on 13th feb BUT i am not fimiliar with the above terminology and a bit worried with its possible link with quota of visas.

Thanks in anticipation.
HAK

MI1 = Ministerial instruction 1 ..... Pre June 2010 Applicants
MI2 = Mininsterial Instruction 2.... Post June 2010 Applicants
MI3 = Ministerial Instruction 3 ..... Post June 2011 Applicants

Hi
Your time line says that visa issued on 26-03-2012????. How can it be possible as you got PPR 2 on 2nd May-12

Regards
HMN

Hi,

Infact my visa is issued by London office and the date is 26-3-12 but PP's were asked by CHC, ISB on 2nd may,12. so those visas were pasted on my PP's here.

Dear All

Anybody has got any idea who issues PR visa Islamabad or London?? Does it mean that when London sends PPR 2 letter, it actuallys sends the visa to Islamabad for visa stamp on the passports

Those who have got visa, please provide your views

HMN

Dear I got visa pasted from CHC, ISB but my visas are issued by London office so it's natural that my visas were sent to ISB to be pasted on my PP's. I hope it clears your doubt.

I live in Saudi arabia I need to send my passport to LVO, anybody has sent passport to LVO from middleeast, its urgent please.

Dear you should send PM to sterileinjection, he sent his PP's to LVO from UAE.

Masha'Allah,

Very good news. Many many many congrats. Good luck for your future life in Canada.

In my COPR's no code is written it's written in English "married" on both forms.
and in medical detail section under heading Surveillance code =11

other than that nothing is in code.

Alhamdulillah I got my visa and confirmation of permanent residence forms (COPR) today.

I notice a possible error in COPR. My marital status code is 1 while my wife's is 2. I think 1 stands for SINGLE and 2 for MARRIED. Can someone please check this in your form and advise? (esp. if the code for yourself and spouse is different or same.. may be it has some other meaning than what I think)

I see the same in family code i.e. 1 for me and 2 for wife but I think that is correct (1=principal applicant, 2=dependant). Can you confirm this as well please?

Lastly, in accompanying family members field, on my form my wife's given name is mentioned only while in her form my full name is mentioned. Is that how it is generally or this is also a mistake? Concerned because this relates to names which is important data.

Regards

Dear All,

My timeline is as below:

1. Initial Application: Nov, 2009
2. AOR 1 & Document Request: Jan, 2010
3. Doc Sent: April, 2010
4. AOR 2 Received: Aug 2010
5. Med & updated Doc, RPRF Request: Feb 2012
6. Med Done: March 2012
7. Updated Doc & RPRF set: April 2012

What time line am I realistically looking for PPR1 & 2 ? I have some important decision relating to my current job pending. I want to switch/quit the current job due me being not happy here. But if the PPR stage is a couple of months away then I may consider sticking to the same job rather trying something new and leave after a short period ?

any expert input will be helpful. :)
