Application received at CIO on 17 June 2009,

Complete Application Package received by VO Islamabad in December 2009,

Application transferred to VO London on 30 June 2010,

Application reviewed at processing started at VO London on 24 January 2012.

It's almost 16 months now so when should I expect the medical request?

Isn't it late?

Secondly as per my reading of different forums medical rejections only comes if the person is having a diseases which treatment is very expensive and VO feel can cause extra pressure on medical services OR person having a diseases which is very dangerous and can cause catastrophic effect or contagious death threatening disease.

Actually it depends that when you are planning to travel. I have plan to travel in August 2013 nothing is cheap due to high season. currently egypt air cheapest than any but bad stay approx 8 hours on Cairo.

Thanks bro ,Actually I was intended to ask about to carry DD with us on 2nd entry to Canada.As an immigrant are you entitled to carry any amount of cash and DD on frequent visits or not?

I am not sure about the law but the plain reading of the texts on various occasions, i have concluded that when u land for the first time you have to show all money and the money in transit (that includes any money u will bring in later through FTT say). All money which is not declared (including the in-transit money) at the time of first landing will be taxed when bring in the country.
But u may need to take second opinion.

In my opinion DD is the good option. I doubt that at air port they will accept bank statement, only draft or cash will be accepted.

I read about the bank statement thing somewhere most probably in the red book received from IOM. Let me find the reference.
