Sorry i forgot to update... My ECAS had change to "Decision Made" before receiving PPR2. Today I have courier my PP's to Islamabad.

Hy just checked my Ecase and my home address have also been changed to Toronto but mailing address is that of pakistan.

Yes Mailing address is Pakistan. But what it means that our visas and docs (COPR) are made and only to be sent or what.

I tried to even call the embassy today but no1 is there to respond and auto msg come up that u do this n that

Can someone let us know how to carry luggage to Canada from Karachi. I mean if you have some extra luggage which you dont want to take with you through airline. In short if you want to send through Cargo.

Is the 14th day today since our passports reached Islamabad. But today canadian address is also added. I think it is updated by CHC Islamabad and i think either they are pasting the stickers and making the docs rite now or they already did and need to send to the courier. Because yesterday night when i checked ecas it was the same as before but today morning when i checked the canadian address is added. As london is 4 to 5 hours before us that is when here it is 9 or 10 at night then it is 4 or 5 evening there in london. So it must be CHC Islamabad who updates these addresses.

Today marks the end of 4th week since we sent our passports to the embassy in Islamabad. Dont know what they are doing with the passports. What troubles me is that our Canadian address appeared nearly 16 days ago and still no sign of TCS guy knocking on our door. We'll inquire from LVO whats happening.

Hello everyone..

For all those travelling to Toronto on PIA, I have a few excess baggage vouchers.. I have PIA awards points for 4 vouchers... basically one voucher means one extra piece of luggage ( up to 28kg) .. I think PIA is charging about $170 for an extra bag.. I will offer a 20% discount to whatever PIA is charging...

Dear Seniors... Assalam-o-Alikum.


Please help me out with the following .....

1. My family medicals will expire in exactly 4 months from now.

2. I received PPR-1 yesterday and I have sent the required docs to London today. As per PPR-1 letter, they will respond in 6 weeks time after reviewing my docs.

3. I am the Primary Applicant and my Passport will expire on 13th Nov, 2013.

4. If my PPR-2 comes after 13th May, I will have to send my Passport for Visa stamping that would have less than 6 months to expire.

My question is ..... is it a problem to send a passport to Canadian Islamabad office for Permanent Residence Visa stamping if it has less than 6 months to expire ? ? ? ? (All of you must be aware of the Passport renewal issues in Pakistan at present)

Curious to know what does that mean " My Ecas showing a Canadian Address now" grateful if someone let me know please!!!
How did they change your address to Canadian address and what address is this? because on my Ecas its showing my Canadian mailing address because my consultant have office in Canada therefore since day one I can see my Canadian address on My Ecas.

As per manual after 12 months time a VO can re-issue medical forms all on its free will but after 15 months he is bound to re-issue medical forms
