Everything is possible in CHC as well. However, the difference is that its not Pakistan where we start abusing for every act of Govt. or by some organization.

If i can land alone then how much amount would i show to immigartion (22000CAD for four family membrs or 11000CAD only for me)?

Iam not sure you must check it thoroughly, as logically speaking at the port of entry you must only show the amount that is enough for the number of landed immigrants. You are coming alone so i guess for you 11000 is fine, but when your wife will arrive in Canada (first time) either with you or alone, she has to go through the immigration process and would be enquired about the funds. This is only my understanding, so please consider this as an advice only.

Re-medicals only happens when 12 month validity period gets expired due to security/background checks incompletion which is not in VO's control, whereas, sending 18 months wait letter ( coupled with updated documents request) is an intentional move by VO for making applicants relaxed & don't bother VO with sending many queries for status update etc for at-least next 18 months.

How long does one have to wait for the passports to be back? We have been waiting for 2 weeks. Our ECas was already updated with Canadian address 3 days ago. Appreciate feedback.

Shukar alhamdulillah , by the grace of Almighty Allah and my mother's prayers, I have received Passports back with VISAS and COPR Today. ;D

I thanks to all forum members for all the support and well wishes.And I pray for all the other forum members awaiting for their proceedings of the Visa and their speedy process...

Secondly , there are errors in 2 of my dependents COPR's and VISAS . First error is additional digit in Passport number and the Second error is that they have mentioned old (expired) passport number and expiry.(which I submitted in SINP only and never in CHC).My updated chart also shows the correct information all together.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Either you go alone or with family you have to show all family POF at the port of entery as per you mention in your application...fail to show all POF.....result Deport from Canada......and refuse to land......so becarefull
