for new immigrants......CCTB and UCCB will be around 480 dollor per month for each child untill 6 years age for sure. It will decrease as income/salary grows up

aHhhh.. they have entitled us for $144 (CTC) and $50 for Universal per month.. My son is going to be FIVE in February 2013.. I have no idea why they paid much less than I was expecting.. :S

1- I have to travel with my spouse and 10 month old baby in feb.i am waiting for my pps back from islamabad after stamp.kindy guide me which flight is suitable for me either pia or emirates? as i am living in Multan,want to take flight from lahore.
2- what is the suitable way to carry funds(DD, Travelers cheque)?easily and early deposit after open an account.as i can carry not more than 10000cad cash.

Congratulations , I am a frequent traveller , and upon basis of my experience I would suggest that you either opt Etihaad or Emirates , as your 10 months baby will be provided with Baby Bed on these Airlines only. PIA do not care for these protocols.

Fare of these two is also cheap , and they are dead on time. Transit times are also minimum , I beleive PIA goes through either London or Manchester , and there is stay of 4 hours on Airport , that is hectic. Please check your travel agent , he will confirm you.

For DD / Funds Transfer contact Dollar East , they will assist you in getting DD

Emirates have direct flights from Multan also

Dear MZB,

This type of NOC may not be ok. The concerned officers in License office of Ontario are quite specific in confirming the authenticity of your Pakistani license. If you have time, get another NOC on letter head. Include your all details, name, Passport number, original date of issue, validity etc.

dear cocknbull i have received NOC from the license authority of Khushab. The problem with the NOC is that its not on the Letter Head of the license issuing authority. secondly it contains only 3 lines about my experience, but has been signed and stamped by the authority concerned.
