There is only one type of flu vaccine available worldwide. Every year a new vaccine is made based on previous years strain. You can go to any hospital and get it done, It may have different brand names but all of them contain the same vaccine.Phobos said:I thought she meant some special strains of flu, which are specific to countries like Canada. Like, when people are checked for vaccination against yellow fever when coming from certain African countries. Is it something like that?
Will simply getting normal flu vaccination help us against any flu strain? Do I have to tell my doctor that I am going to Canada, so he gives me some specific vaccine? That is basically what I am confused about.
