Thanks someone for giving valuable information. What about if we carry extra weight. I mean how much airline charge per extra Kg.SoMeOnE-SoMeWhErE said:I didnt make a list and was given the option to fill in the form at the airport.....it only took me a few minutes....but seriously speaking....I doubt u want to bring anything from Pakistan...
The only thing that can help is if u r bringing a car from the US....cos cars here are much more expensive than the US....if u know someone in the US who is willing to give u or sell u his/her car....that might benefit u....u can PM me for details....(although i didnt do it)...but have a fair idea what to do....
The rest...for goods to follow list....what would u add....furniture....household goods....??? What else....its too big a hassle for it....my suggestion is....just come here....get a job....after that...u can afford it....secondly....the apartments here r small....where would u keep these items?? and finally...u have six months to bring it into the country....havent heard of anyone bringing anything from Pakistan..
U can fill the form for the heck of it if u want....anyways....just my opinion...
Best of luck to you !!!!
btw...they never asked me for an list of accompanying goods....just generally asked me what I had....i just said clothes and basic household stuff...they r more interested in how much money u r carrying.....no issues....u just need to declare it.....

Well In pakistan you can contact any money changer (Wall Street etc.) for this. As for Canada, I think you can make usual DD (However I am not sure about this)muzmil said:Thanks Arsalan for your help, Also can you tell me the process to pay RPRF fee ? Today, Decision made on my ECASE after PPR2 with these comments "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."
what does it mean?
Kind regards.
You dont need to worry about sending your medical. Its the job of doctor who is conducting this for your family. If you are in KSA, you will be treated different as that of pakistani resident (for example you will got PPR only, not PPR1 and PPR2). However your current residence should be updated in Canadian Immigration Record.ali.naeem said:Dear All,
I received my medical letter on October 13, 2012. I have plan to do my medical from Karachi center, I confirmed from call center agent, which location they will sent our medical results and he told me they will dispatch to New Delhi and new Delhi will forward to London office.
My Question is I received letter about medical instructions in that letter there is NO new delhi address mentioned. It's mentioned that "The examining physician is responsibile for collecting all neccessary reports and forwarding them to:"
OVERSEAS HEALTH PROGRAMS
High Commission of Canada
Regional Medical Office
Macdonald House
38 Grosvenor Street
London
The reason I am asking my visa application office was ISLAMABAD and now my case is handling by LONDON office but I am based in Saudia for the last 5 years and I have scheduled this examination from Karachi not from Riyadh. Whereas Riyadh approved hospital is directly sending to LONDON office not new Delhi... My concern is, LONDON office should mentioned NEW DELHI address instead of LONDON address directly in the letter. May be LONDON office thought that since I am already in Saudia and Saudia regional medical office is LONDON so they directly mentioned LONDON address not New Delhi address..
Can someone please clear my doubts which address exactly mentioned in the letter which have received in your medical instructions.
Thank you...

Thanks to this forum and all the members, we've been a community here and will remain a helping hand to those in need of our experiences. I pray a speedy process for all those waiting for PPR1, PPR2 and awaiting passports. My sincere advise to all the forumites is that unlike me, don't panic stay calm, have some patience and soon you all will get through the immigration process with stamped visas.
GOOD LUCK TO EVERY ONE
But I have heard you can make it without visa. The rules for it have now changed. If anyone has correct information about it please share.somey11 said:brother if ur visa is stamped then u can get NICOP.
yes, only important thing is evaluation of jewelry, best thing is get all your jewelry evaluated on a single receipt from a jeweller and then convert the value to Canadian Dollars. Attach this evaluation to pictures of all items numbered as per on receipt. The reason for doing this is if these are in your good to follow they will not be charged tax, you have 1 yr to bring these in. The customs official will stamp these pictures. This procedure was explained and shown to me by my uncle who migrated 10 yrs ago and they learned from experience since the first time they went they had to get the evaluation done from Canada as the customs held their jewelry until this was done. so when his daughter migrated with her family 4 yrs later they followed this procedure. I hope this helps.mythestic said:I second you. I made the long n lengthy list of Goods Accompanying and the Immigration officer just attached it to the Form. (I didnt fill any form whatsoever). She didnt check any item i brought from Pakistan, didnt even bother to check my Bank Draft or cash. Although, about jewelry, she told me to evaluate your jewelry here in Canada and then attach the evaluation receipt to the list. So whenever you fly to PK n get back to Canada, you won't be taxed.
She was showing some hesitation to accept the Value of jewelry i mentioned in the list.
