Medical done on January 5, 2011. Got step 1 request on March 3, 2011. They received updated documents on March 22 2011. Now awaiting step 2 letter.

When should we expect to hear from them?

Send them a reminder. Include the scanned copy of the courier receipt as it is three months since you sent the documents. Usually they send Step 2 in one month.

These are the required funds estimated for one year living cost in case you are unable to get a job etc. when you reach Canada. I got this info from CIC website. It is authentic. They may require proof of these funds availability at the airport.

secondly, I will suggest you to do a little homework before going. Take as many things as you can in the first go as all is customs free, later it will become difficult for you.

Hi all just to inform you, One of my colleagues NOC 3111, initial applicant of june 2009, who had done medicals on 27th Jan 2011, received back his passports after only 8 days of step 2 letter, There was a gap of three months between step 1 and step 2 letters.

I have seen the gap between Step 1 and Step 2 ranging between 20 days to 3 months in this forum, I guess it is ones own luck. My Step 1 was completed around 20 days back, lets see whats in store for me.

medical done feb 2011.i got this enquiry email from chc london that they check my final background/security check. any body got same mail from chc london ,how long more time they need for step one letter ,
