Once i querried LVO regarding my PPR last month he immediately replied with one sentence email. "back ground check outstanding"... now here is the question

To me there is a difference between ... In progress and outstanding (outstanding can mean still not send for back ground check,, i wish i am wrong here ). can u guys put some light on to it

Your newborn medical is done now, and i think you have asked before that about PPR, in that case they may wait for full family medicals to be cleared and then start background security checks, once medical received line is added in ecase that means all family medicals are ok now.

Background security checks start after getting PA's medical result.

I feel medical fitness of all family members is equally important, if one fails all will fail, then why they will start only with PA fitness

Your point is also very valid. But I have asked the same question to Mr. Qorax and he replied that SC start after getting PA's medical result.

i got ppr1 on 4 may and my papers received at 9 may by mageste

not yet mate.. my ppr-1 was received by mageste on 18th may 2012.
