Generally, you should apply for the CCTB as soon as possible. No PR card copy is required. CoPR is good enough with SIN and bank details.
Makes no difference to CRA what your immigration status in Canada is, they will make their own determination based on your residency, marital status, and ties to Canada, and a few documents such as marriage certificate, lease, bills etc for the determination of residency.

At the time of landing you would be given a welcome package and this form is also included in that. You will be required to open a bank account and send this form with all details to the tax centre address. There are certain situations where you may be required to complete additional forms or provide extra documentation with your application. You may also have to complete the schedule RC66SCH, Status in Canada/Statement of Income.

Once the CRA receive your application, the CRA may ask you to provide supporting documents to prove that you are primarily responsible for the care and upbringing of the child, for example:

a signed statement from a nursery or school authority confirming the child's home address and guardian on record;
a signed statement from a person in a position of authority (such as a lawyer or a social worker);
a registration form or a receipt from an activity or club the child was enrolled in for the period you indicated; or
a court order, decree or separation agreement.
You do not have to provide these documents with your application, however, if you choose to do so, the CRA may still contact you if the CRA need more information.

Pakistan is one of the best places to live...its been almost a week here and still feeling homesick....missing Paki air too much, especially the sound of Azaan.....

i shared my experience regarding POF, when u land in canada, thee Air line ppl will handover u declaration card, its better u fill it while u r in plane...
if u are carrying cash above 10k $, whether u r travilng as a person or family, u have to declare it on the form....
in my case, i had less than 10k $ as a cash and rest amount in the form of bank statment but my Immigration officer didnt ask me to show bank statemnt or cash....

Congratulations on landing successfully. Can you please tell whether this bank statement / bank balance certificate be in PKR or it has to be in CAD?

The amount should be according to proof of funds table for # of people immigrating.
Bring some cash for initial days/months.
Carry a DD(demand draft) in CAD and deposit into your account once you visit local bank here. Many say it takes a month or so to clear the funds into your account. People recommend using dollareast's service for DD

Only you can decide it all once you find out what you can afford, and which is most economical for you.
Note though, that taking it with you on flight by paying extra means it will travel and arrive same time as you. You get it at luggage claim.

Other 2 methods, it will arrive later and will have to be picked up again at airport, etc. It can take 1-2 weeks or several if by sea.
Air is usually faster.

No need to bring furniture. Bring good silver/steel pots, dinner sets (here its only 16 piece for 4 family members and incomplete), and traditional clothing for women (such as shalwar qameez, as there is huge lack of variety/materials here and can't have it and too expensive).

both r valid

Does anybody has an idea in how many days PR card is coming nowadays if anybody makes landing in Calgary?

Does landing in different province has any impact on PR Card receiving time.

Thanks
