Thanks to ALLAH Almighty...HE is the only hope...

Today I got my PPR+UPDATED INFO CHART REQUEST for each family member from LVO...

I have a query guys...please advise me seniors...

I am in Abu Dhabi and my family is in Pakistan. It is clearly written in the PPR email that I need to submit my passport in Abu Dhabi and my family passport in Pakistan...but when i read the letter it is written that "all documents for you and your accompanying family members must be submitted together in one package"

Plus the updated info chart requires details of principal applicant and accompanying family members...

1. How is it possible to submit all documents in one package in my situation

2. Do I need to include details of all family members in information chart of each family member...because our passports are being submitted in different countries...


Experienced advise please...

LVO already instructed you to send passport to Abu Dhabi, while your family in Pakistan should send theirs to Islamabad.
Attach a copy of the instruction email when dispatching passports.

You may attach the charts if you wish, but indicate that passports are being submitted to 2 offices (write a letter or note explaining and enclose a copy of the PPR email, highlight the part about LVO instruction)

Aoa every one - We're planning to land in mid August this year. Those friends who have already landed, can you please share how much temporary medical insurance will cost per person for first three months. I reckon we will be expected to purchase our health insurance in the absence of our permanent medical coverage for first three months.

If you are landing in Toronto, then you might need this insurance. But if you plan to land in Alberta, then you will be eligible from the day one you landed in Alberta Region...

I m gov. Employee n i got tickets a week earlier than my documemted official leave....koi issue to nahi ho ga as they may ask for NOC although my passport doesnt mention me as gov employee...

Sorry no idea, probably best to get modified noc so you don't experience hassle at airport in Pakistan from FIA(immigration).

Only the Pakistani immigration asks to see NOCs for Govt employees leaving Pakistan. But you can always call them up and ask them if it will be an issue or not.

Outside of Pakistan, nobody cares, its pretty useless.

My medical was done on 18th April 2015 and I got passport request so I send my passport on 12 May which were recieved at Islamabad office on 14 May 2015. My online status is showing decision made DM but it has been 39 days but I have not got my passport back. can anyone tell how many days does Islamabad visa office usually takes to give visa? Anybody who applied in April 2015?

Alhamdulillah today I got my and family's PR cards.

it took exactly 78 days since the day I landed!

For landed PR's and future citizenship applicants,,, make sure you keep/save documentary evidences of your Residency in Canada.

Things like leases, bank statements, car/home/rental insurances, etc....any paperwork.
Note all your absences from Canada. When you return to Canada, you can also ask CBSA to put stamp again in your passport to show you returned to Canada on that date, etc. It makes things easier to remember. (By default, CBSA does not stamp returning PR's generally but you can request)

You may need it come citizenship time. Canadian Govt loves paperwork in some cases where they ask for additional documentations

In between my wife will complete her studies, other documentation, etc. and also visit me in UAE for PR card handover.

If you are leaving family behind to collect your PR card and it can be delivered to you in UAE, the plan may work out. However, I hope there is support structure in the form of relatives/friends in Canada who can help your family out while you are away. Best of luck.
