I will travel on 27th of April Insha Allah from Karachi to Dubai then Dubai to Toronto then (Toronto to Regina By Air Canada)

we booked Qatar Air for 01st April 2015 From Karachi to Montreal :'(. Reaching Karachi on 29th Mar 2015. Some shopping and dawats with friends. Ticket is bit expensive. (A kid buy a chocolate from a shop or you buy a ticket from airline needs al most same efforts :-[ )


Anybody wants to visit me in Montreal or my friend in Edmonton, you are welcome. We are in LaSalle near B. Power area. Allion School is closed to us. My 7 Seater Santa Fe can easily pickup 7 people or 5 people with a lot of luggage.

We have total 9 bags in our luggage. 5 are maroon color same size, same brand. In KHI airport anybody wants to meet us, you are also welcome.

I request friends please do not think a lot about me, feel free to discuss Canada related matters.

I also recommend everybody, ticket, airline, etc. are not big issues. After landing your experience is main concern. Lets discuss about these things. If you have too many bags, you will need to hire two Taxis.

In Toronto many hostels/ temporary stay places offer airport pickup serive. Mostly they drive Quest, Sienna or Dodge Carvan minivans.

If you are three people, your 5 to 6 158" dimmension bags can eaisly accomodate in these cars. If luckly you find somebody with Station wagon Taours, Avalon (rare) or Ford victoria as Taxi, may accomodate 4 people with a 6 to 7 bags.

In Montreal, mostly small hotels and hostel will not offer you any airport pickup. (This is very practical experience, you can not find on internet)

You have to pay $40 (some private part timers) to $80 for a taxi.

In first few days, Try to visit any Library after SSN. People will help you to fill different forms to apply for different Government benefits. I did these activities in Toronto but not in Montreal. Montreal is a French city. All road signs are in French.

Tolarance level in Montreal is much better than people do in Toronto. But they say Hello/ hi (Salute/ Bonjour) less than people say Hello/ Hi in Toronto.

Anyhow, Montreal is more beautiful than Toronto. Does Anybody like fishing? I love fishing. You have to get a license first.

Montreal to Toronto is 6 to 7 hour drive. There is a train, I have never used it. Montreal to Edmonton is 80 hours+ drive. If Allah allow us, in (any one when our friend will settle down) spring we shall make a long drive.

Nobody asked about where are Masjids/ Mosques in Toronto or Montreal. You all pray a lot for your passports. Do not forget, you have to remember your God. Remember whoever there, all are Allah kay banday. You have to treat them well, think positive about them. In Islam you can also drink Jhota water of a non-muslim if you are sure nothing haram taste/ smell came to the glass. So all humans are same. If somebody asks you help to drop him/ her at Church, please do it. Involve yourself in positive thinking (you could start from this forum) and activities. Never try to let down anybody.

Anything more constructive ideas/ topics for discussion other than airline ticket booking? please initiate. I am going to close my account from 29th March 2015 for this forum. May I shall see it after sometimes. My email will remain active.

+1 for you. I am Christian from India. After PR we are all Canadians. We choose Canada because of their tolerant welcoming nature, multicultural environment, less racial people. So we all should strive to integrate well and be Canadians first and not carry our old baggages with us. Stay and mix with people from different parts of the world and help everyone like they were our own ( nationality, religion, etc..) and work together to be a blessing for Canada.

Sp canadamylove and khizar and zrm.b in touch so v cud of any help to eachothr in one way or another or in a virtual moral support... Am planning to leave in sep or oct so i hv plenty of time since than... But if u remember ur sis than u can contact me thru email so vl hv some help frm ur xperience..
