i just got a reply that "your request is forwarded to responsible office".

You should send a CSE using the Abu Dhabi IRCC Webform. They take around 2 weeks to reply but their information is authentic as our files are being processed there.

Do you know how to to do CSE using abudhabi IRCC? I just did the normal CSE.

Its really sad zimprincess...nothing we could do..they inform about refusal after 4 months :/ that's so rude. we all have some how like your dates, now let see whats gonna happen to us then..

I'm sorry to hear that zimprincess. Are you going to reapply?

Yes but my visa expires in January. I have applied for BOWP so will apply for my hubby after I get approval on that. In the mean time we have our PR application in as well. So something should give at the end of the day.
Have you put in a recent CSE? Because processing time is now 8 weeks in Islamabad. Send an email to:

What are the reasons in the refusal letter ?

Here are the details:
Applied: 25 May 2016
Refused: 13 October 2016
Processing time: 141 days
Reasons for refusal:
1. Basically you're not entitled to a work permit and you need an LMIA (incorrect because I'M on a work permit and he IS entitled to one).

2. You have not satisfied us that you will leave Canada at the end of your authorized period because -
a. family ties in Canada and in home country.
b. purpose of visit.
c. employment prospects in country of residence.
d. current employment situation (he is self-employed AND owns a company)
e. personal assets and financial status (we provided company ownership papers and a letter from the bank showing CA$13,000)

3. AND the worst one of them all is: you have not provided the Nikkah (Islamic marriage papers), therefore I am not satisfied that your marriage is genuine (we provided the Government of Pakistan registration of the marriage).

Yeah those are the reasons for refusal. The difference is because these are being processed in UAE, the officers are familiar with Islamic traditions and they know that we sign a paper during the actual nikkah. I am assuming that is what they wanted to see. And government registration wasn't enough. It baffles me really!

No that's not the reason. many of my friends got the workpermits on the same Nadra issued certificates. You should apply for GCMS notes, those are helpful and mentions the actual reasons.
