I asked Ralph Goodale, Mp secretary to check the status of my application as they belong to my city and province. He replied me back;

The open work permit application received June 8th, 2016 is still in process.

The 27 week standard processing time is not applicable as extra review is required.

Processing time from pakistan is 8 weeks. new update 11/10/16

I did an Case Specific enquiry on Oct 6 but i have not receive an answer yet

Oct 5 to IRRC that my application exceeded from normal processing which is 8 weeks...
