Its good they atleast replied but I feel as if this reply means no further progress/med. within next few days.
May be I am wrong but otherwise they could have replied with a medical request instead of this dead message.
What you think nabeel.

I received a response today for the mail I had sent a week ago:

"Dear Client,

This is in response to your email (see below).

Your application is currently in process and under review.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Please note that we will be unable to reply to messages which do not include either the name AND date of birth of the primary applicant or the file number under which your application is being processed. "

This is the mail I received, and I'm glad that to know atleast they replied and didn't kept me hanging :/ Still no medical call though !

I'll wait till 20th August if I don't receive any medical call prior to this date then I will lodge an application for my withdrawal of study permit application, since I also have to refund my fees from my UNI which I have already paid in advance if god forbid I receive no response from the visa office.

I got the exact same message today. Looks like they have finally woken up. Last time I emailed they replied after 2 weeka. This timeit took only two days. Hopefully all will be good.

I got this email as well when I requested my medical. But then the next I received an email from them to get my medical done. Don't distress people, give it another day or two you'll get an update. Hope it helps.
Now help me. I had my medical on the 1st of August. But havent got any update yet. When should I get my visa by? My classes start on the 2nd Sept and my orientation start on the 25th of Aug. Hahaha.

Out of my personal experience I can say that now you should not worry. You should get your visa by end of third week of this month.
Lets see

I sent them an email on the 21st of July. I requested them for my medical. Received a reply from them the next day I.e the 22nd of july stating that my application is under process and review. And the next day which was the 23rd I received an email for my medical examination. I emailed them at this address; ISBADIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca
