I just checked. If you get a medical request from the high commission, your status on VFS online tracking also changes. I logged into VFS after some days of medical exam and saw that it says "You are requested to undergo medical exam kindly visit VAC to get the request letter"

Pretty good status check. Initially VAC staff said status will only change once passport is returned to VAC.

I am applying ONLINE today for Fall 2014 in Ontario. I am wondering if someone can go over me what needs to be done after i submit my application online. for ex Biometrics? do we walk in to VAC office in karachi or they contact us to do it? what sorts of documents you need for biometrics and then whats next?

After applying online you will get a letter on myCIC portal, to take to VAC for biometrics.

i applied online in april and got my passport request on 07 july i submitted my passport at VAC on 8 july till now i have not received any responce, any one here can tell me how it proceeds now as they take only 5 working days to stamp visa but its getting very late now

Be smart , he already explain to you ,
once you apply online you will receive email for the invitation of bio-metrics, take a print out that letter and take your passport with you to VAC, if you from karachi , VAC is on shahra e faisal.

I don' know how should I go through medical?

Experts I have my medical letter in my email, how should I go through medical examination?
If somebody can help me out in that with step by step process, will appreciate it?

1.Take a print out of the file you received in your e-mail.

2.send an email to canmedpk@iom.int
Subject : Canadian Medical Exam appointment request
In the e-mail write down your complete name as per CIC, Passport number, date of birth, Contact number, City where you want the test, and type of visa = student.

Send this e-mail you will get an appointment date in 2 or 3 hours if you e-mail at 9 am. Otherwise you might get an email the next day. They will give you an appointment usually 5 or 6 days later. Take the print out of the request and take it with you along with a passport copy and original NIC card + copy. No need for pictures because they will take picture there. They will tell you to bring the pictures in the e-mail but disregard that as they will not ask you for it and wont accept it either.

Make sure you dont take a piss before going to the appointment because they will take a urine sample and if you're fasting it will be hard to piss LOL

After all this process, how should I notify CIC that I am done, I have to emal them or I have to send them medical receipt by mail?

That is not good news :O. I gave my passport on the 14th.

me as well.I have dispatched my passport on 15th July and it is reached at CHC on 17th July.Still no response from them.No status changed/updated in online portal since it was mentioned on passport request letter that "A decision has been made".Should we write them? or the VO will be annonyed with frequent corresspondence.

brother keep patience . . Insha Allah, your maple leaf is on the way. . Do no irritate them again and again. it might be harmful for us. . it can be created more delays and problem for u and us as well .

You will not inform them. Once your medical is completed the IOM will send your medical results directly to CIC. You don't need to do anything except get tested at IOM.
