Yes sooner or later your case will go in process and you will see the real processing date when they started processing your application. Just wait and relax. Thanks

Guys this is a question asked by many people and I have found the answer on this blog. Thanks

http://indiraprabhakaran.com/blog/quick-note-to-my-readers/#comments

That being said, I notice that 70% of the queries are very similar asking when they would get medicals, visas or what is the next stage of the process. Well, I keep repeating the same answers again and again. For once,

It could take anywhere from 15 days to 6 months or even more to receive medicals after they start to process your file.
It could take anywhere from 15 days to 6 months or even more to receive stamped passports after they receive the medicals reports, RPRF fee, passports and ALL required documents.
It all depends on a number of factors known and unknown and there is no way we can predict timelines. We always go with the average timelines for a batch of applications.

You should wait for a month atleast to again check the status through Caips notes.
The question that when your background checks will be completed is some thing no one can know for sure. While filling the updated application forms, in section "personal history" the applicant has to provide complete record of what he / she has been doing since the age of 18. A note is given at the top of that section stating that you must not leave any gaps in the period, or else it will delay the processing of your application. I hope you have not left any gaps in the time period as it may have been the reason for delay in background checks.

RIGHT I WILL CALL FOR MY CAIPS NOTES TILL TO THE END OF MARCH 2012,
BUT WHAT ABOUT MY B/C CHECKS, WHEN IT WILL BE OVER, SINCE AUGUST, 2011....
WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM TIME LIMIT OF THESE CHECKS,

Hi,

i have a question. While submitting my case and as per requirment from VO i had to send my all of the original documents along with my application. Now if i ask VO to send back my originals, could it create sort of a delay in processing of my application as my current status is in process (from last two years), and actual processing has not started yet. I mean when VO will start the processing and before that if i get my originals back will they be asking to send the originals back to them which may create delay in processing or anything like that.

Regards,
Ali.

Not sure, but i think yes it may delay the process, better to wait till actual process date is available in your status

Actually there has been certain opportunities which i have not been able to avail just because of this reason as not having the originals in hand. and i have applied since 2009. All the plans/opportunities are getting delayed or missed just because of this delay.
Never mind bro, just sharing my frustration

Dear Khalid,
Just saw your timelines these are almost same as mine. can you share your NOC detail. Also please tell me as if you ever applied for CAIPS. and what is your inside ecase details.

Dear raza

Last year in June, I asked CHC to return my original documents. In response, they informed me that returning of original documents may delay the processing of your application. Therefore, I asked them to retain my documents till they are reviewed. I got them back recently alongwith MR.

And you are right. Chances are surely missed due to absence of original documents. But that is the risk, we have to take. Considering your timelines, my expectation is that processing of your application will commence soon.
