Hi Friends,For those who are waiting for MR...
I am posting security related decision code explanations:
BDEC is a verification of your education and experience credentials done by visa posts.
SDEC or SEC is the security decision after background/security check done by Canadian intelligence and security agencies.
CRIM or CDEC or CRIMDEC - it is criminal check, usually covered by police certificates.
BDEC ( B/ground check of education and experience verification) : Will calling the College or institute sufficient. Will it be positive. BDEC is done before issuing Medicals.
SDEC (By Canadian agency): I feel this is Post Medicals, once MEDDEC is PASS, else they dont issue PPR or return the PP if Temporary Medically Unfit ( Read about some cases that might need Surgical intervention like Cataract). Not sure for Permanent deficiencies like bad back with large Scolisos/ Kyphosis related to Spine /or polio complications that makes a person crippled and unable to do Normal jobs. DMP checks for this also. Thats why u have to wear the gown for better visibility- Anatomy analysis ??
CDEC ( Local Criminal check): Usually it is OK for most of us as we are submitting the PCC( Police clearance certificate).
So the main time consuming check is SDEC and that is a TOP SECRET. So web sites dont have details on this process.
PS: ( Not sure if Racial profiling is also done to categorise us as Visible Minority and inform Companies about our brands)
