1. Evidence of Relative currently Living in Canada.
WHO ARE THE ACCEPTABLE RELATIVES:
You and your accompanying spouse/common law partner relative who lives in canada and is a canadian citizen or PR.
1- Parent/Grand Parent.
2- Child/ Grand Child.
3- Brother/ Sister
4- Aunt/Uncle or
5- Niece/Nephew
CIC requires the Proofs.
Basic Evidence of Relationship:
Proof of relationship of your close relative in canada can be evident by docs, such as Birth, Marriage, adoption certificates. Birth certificates of Both you & your brother will prove that you have atleast one common parent.
What document needed as Proof.
If S/he is a PR: provide a copy of Landing
(IMM 1000) or
CORP or
PR card.
If S/he is a citizen: provide citizenship proof e.g. copy of canadian passport or citizenship card.
How to Prove Relative "Currently Inside Canada":
Prove evidence to show that your relative is currently residing inside canada. This may include copies of:-
1- Lease agreements
2- a current notice of assessment from Revenue Canada
3- An employers letter confirming employment.
4- Monthly utility bills etc.
