Go ahead with the certification. It would be really helpful. Regarding your question on other thread, no updates so far. I am thinking about writing to CHC...I don't intend to make and enquiry rather notifying them of some thing......

I've written a detailed mail to minister Jeason Keny 4 days back.. and requested him to have our processing boosted-up.... no reply as on today................... I feel everybody should write one such mail to him (not to CHC ISB) in a very polite way just to wake them up..

Hi Farhan:

I wish your email has a positive affect, and Minister Keny pushes CHC Islamabad for speedy resolution of cases especially simplified application category. Let's hope for the best. By the way, I have also written to CHC Isb. My letter was not a query regarding my pending case. Rather it was to notfiy them of something, which I apprehend might have happened in the past. So if my apprehensions are correct, I shall get a response from CHC.

One reason why backlog is carrying on at CHC Islamabad is that they have only only 11 people in all including Counsellors, First & Secondary secretaries in immigration section who have to process thousand of local applications if not a few hundred thousand. Other than this, they have to take care of applications from Afghanistan because CHC Islamabad is also an acting high commission for Afghanistan. And now we have no clue how many cases from across the border have piled up here.

So I believe these CHC people have gone crazy. They are toally messed up and have no clue how to stramline the entire backlog. On top of that they are under pressure from pre Feb 28 applicants who are going N**S since they have no clue as to when their cases will materialize. That's why they have set up a new section by the name of "Client Enquiry Section". So if you enquire them about your case, you won't get a response from immigration section.

yaar, where is that "Client Enquiry Section"? is this there on CHC ISB home page, and how one can inquire on that?

I meant that any query to CHC Islamabad regarding your case would be received by immigration section but initial working is done by "Client Services Section (CSC)" who have access to your file through some internal mechanism.

If you case is with in normal processing time, CSC would give you a "GOLI" but if processing has actually begun on some case then reply would be from an immigration counsellor or first or second sercretary depending on the complexity of matter and stage of processing.

Well some guys keep posting their replies from CHC islamabad on different threads, and at the bottom it says "Client Services Sections". So i have been able to make sense out it using my 6th sense.

Hi Cancon, yeah, I've written that over there, based upon few of the cases of friends. One of my friend applied in Oct 2005, got the same type of letter in late 2008 and mid 2009 he got letter for document up-date by CHC ISB. But over and above that, in trackitt, you must have observed one of the case of an applicant who applied in 2007 and he wrote that he got immigration visa in 2009 Dec. There are only good hope right now, I expect some document up-date letter for 2007 applicants (like u, like me and like so many others of 2007) some where in 3rd quarter of 2010 or may be in start of 2011..... what do u think dude..

I expect a document request after May or November 2010, when the deadline of 36-42 months is over. But you know most guys from Pakistan Application Forum are of the opinion that CHC is currently processing cases from last quarter of 2004, which obviously means they have yet to process 2005 & 2006 applications. If the above is true then it shoulf be a matter of concern for us coz this simply indicates: WAIT FOR ANOTHER 3 YEARS ??? Is it like that?

Hi Cancon & Dream Can, to me it seems that we should be getting some up-date letter either in end 2010 or first quarter 2011....... suppose if CHC sends the letter in Q1 2011, means we have to submit all the docs by mid 2011, which of-course we would. then from mid 2011 they would start actual processing of our cases that processing usually takes 4 to 5 months (mean end 2011). In start 2012, they may send PPR and Med.... doing all these, I feel it would be mid 2012, when we would be landing to Canada........ how do u feel??

Dream_Can: Well i hope you get the document request soon. Have you contacted CHC in this regard? Now it's your right to contact them for update. Please make an enquiry coz they will take 1 month to respond. I strongly belive you enquiry would help us understand what they are really up to.

Starting April 10, 2010, CIC has again amended the rules. Now every applicant must posses IELTS results of French language proficiency test results...... in addition to that they are in process to revise the list of demanded professions (it is being said that they are gonna remove NOC 0213).... may be that would ease to clear the backlog faster...........
